"Mariner's Landing is a great property with great on-site amenities. There's a nice pool, a lovely little lake beach, and a restaurant on site. The property is very clean and well-maintained.The studio condo we rented was also very nice. Very clean, nicely maintained. There were some nice, unexpected touches - coffee, shampoo, lotion, and other personal care items. I highly reccommend both Mariners Landing and this condo."

Romantic SML Penthouse, Bernard’s Landing. Smith Mountain Lake 3 Pools

"Was not told lake water was so low. Bed and sofa are worm out and need replacing. Very uncomfortable for senior citizens. Wind gusts came and ripped and knocked over outside table umbrella. That needs replacing as well. Other amenities were good. Lots of cook ware and towels."

"Sadly, the lake was very low this year. It made getting in and out to swim a bit more challenging. We also decided to rent a smaller boat to enable easier docking. We eat-in most meals, and found the kitchen and grills to be great! The whole house was well stocked, including the dock shed. The lower part of the hill drive had some deep ruts. It would be nice to have them scraped flatter. The owners were very responsive to messages before and during our trip. All in all, it was still a great family vacation!"

"This house is such a wonderful spot. The rooms are perfect for lots of guests to all have their own space. Adult rooms are plenty far away from the kids' ! :D The cove that it is in is perfect for swimming and boating out of. The porch has a huge table for dinners which was perfect. This is an older house and the pictures show that. There is some maintenance that could be done to the stairs and such. However, everything is very comfortable and clean and well equipped.A note about the water level, as we were nervous checking in. The dock is not able to be used for boat tie up. We just beached our boat and that worked perfectly ... actually way easier than docking anyway. For swimming, the beaches work perfectly as well. So there was really nothing to worry about and I would/will book this place again even with the low water level."

"Our family of 13 had a wonderful time in Moneta and loved this house! The bedrooms were nice-sized and comfortable. The kitchen was roomy and well-stocked, though some basic things like salt and pepper would have been helpful. The wrap-around porch was a wonderful place to sit and read or just relax. We would love to stay here again!"
