"My husband and I came here for our honeymoon. We put that in the reservation when booking and when we arrived we received nothing not even an acknowledgment that is why we were there. We’ve stayed at the Outrigger on Waikiki Beach in Oahu 20+ times and we have to say this experience of the Outrigger of Kaanapali beach was extremely disappointing. The staff was not friendly or helpful. We were able to check in right away at Waikiki beach but here they would not let us. We had to wait 2 hours for our room to get ready. The bathroom of our premium king bed was very small. The view of our room was good though. We had a red eye flight on our last day so we had 10 hours to spare and it was the first day the sun had finally came out on our stay. We asked if they had late checkout or if the had a hospitality room for us to use after checkout so we could go to the beach and then shower and leave they said that we are welcome to change in their bathrooms and use the showers by the beach. Not helpful at all. Not to mention you walk any direction and the facility’s of these other hotels look well kept and up to date. The pool at this outrigger was disgusting. The water was murky and hadn’t looked cleaned in a very long time we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and blame the rain but when we walked to any resort down the road their pools were gorgeous and looked clean. For the price of this hotel we were extremely let down by the all around hospitality. "
