"Five us came to enjoy Hawaii for a few days. Due to my oversight in reviewing the property I was surprised to find no a/c. It turned out not to be a problem as there were fans for every room, both ceiling and floor and the nights cooled down nicely. The home was well equipped with everything you would need, including a washer and a dryer. It was clean and well kept. Plenty of throw pillows, blankets (not that we needed them) and beach toys and equipment. Some of old folks were challenged...

"The property had many accessories and made for a comfortable stay for the family. Barring some appliances that were not working, it was enjoyable. "Check in was easy. Loved waking to the beach and the grocery store. Plenty to do on the north shore with pretty easy access - traffic is always a guess.. we loved that there were beach items for our use and a nice big patio AND lanai - I wish we had spent more time on that lanai!"

"The pictures do not do justice for the location of this house. It has the most beautiful beach with very few other people. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It is right next to the bike/walking path if you like to go for a run/walk. It is right in the puddle of the sugar factory and Haleiwa town. "We stayed at barefoot bungalow for 4 nights after attending a family wedding at the military base and enjoyed every second of it. The communication with the host was smooth, their directions were perfect to find the house and it was very well decorated and appointed with anything you could need. We got a spell of extremely wet weather so I wish we could have spent more time enjoying the deck and views but appreciated the cozy tiny home to come back to to dry off and relax in. "The place was family friendly and had a great location. For convenience, 7-11 was right within walking distance and was filled with activities that the 6 kids (ages 14-4) in our family could enjoy. Our kids walked to the beach and the park. It had everything we needed.The property caretakers were super responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. I would be happy to stay there again. "
