"Excellent hotel on the North Shore that still has a Hawaiian flair, even if it is next to a McDonalds. It has been updated since i saw it years ago. Rooms are spaceous and clean, nice counter for incidentials, has a swing out desk / table that was super helpful. Staff were amazing, welcome.gift of choco mac nuts! The pool was warm and tropical. The hotel has water fill stations to save buying water and waste. The bistro was good. The hotel even had 'rainy day' games for use and a room opened for kids, useful as we booked in due tona storm and there wasnt much outdoor activities to be had. They even had Mrs Hawaii greet The Princess of Tonga, which was a cool highlight of a day. Thanks Marriott"

"Room was clean, although slightly cramped in the living room. Would be nice to have a light near the window too. But, overall, a very nice property. We would definitely stay here again."
