"Pool was closed for the season, but the rest was lovely. Gerat location and look forward to returning. "

"Peaceful setting with nice view of the garden and distant mountains. The room was perfect with a very comfortable bed and great facilities. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the outdoor bar very pleasant. "

"Quiet location and the host promptly sorted out a lack of water supply on arrival. Overall, happy with the accommodation except for the horrible polyester bed linen and lumpy polyester-filled pillows which were nasty and sweaty and impossible to use: after a sleepless first night the local bedding shop in Westport came up trumps with a cheap cotton bed linen set and wool pillows. From then on the bed was very comfortable. Otherwise everything was as expected. Plenty of do and see in the local area. "

"4x4 Vehicle access only unless you want to carry your bags 300m, including over a 50m 2 x plank & wire swing bridge. This is not in listing. Host has a 2 person seater 4x4 & said he only offers rides for 3+ night bookings & complained doing this for visitors damages his vehicle! When he reluctantly offered a lift out as I had a broken ankle & we commented that we felt he was prioritising his vehicle over us, there was no apology for the inconvenience, just a tirade of abuse as he started swearing & using very personal & rude profanities. Note check in time was advertised as 11 am but he was adamant we should be "off his property by 10 am". A beautiful property spoiled by terrible host."

"Thank you for having us to stay for two wonderful nights at Riverview Cottage. The staff were AMAZING right throughout our stay--friendly, efficient, calm, kind & helpful, and great facilities. Could have stayed forever. AWESOME!!!"

"Cosy, rustic cabin, cleverly planted so it feels like your own little hideaway, and couldn't be closer to the beach - spent many hours sitting on the suntrap deck and watching the waves. Quiet and private, with everything you need (extra fridge/freezer a bonus). Grounds are beautifully maintained and staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely break away."
