Top Moeraki Boulders Hotel Reviews

Poshtel

Poshtel

10/10 Excellent
"I travel to Oamaru a lot and somehow only just found Poshtel on Expedia. Easily the best hotel I’ve stayed in here. The room was spotless, comfortable and full of character, quirky vintage and steampunk touches that actually feel like Oamaru. Everything was clean, well thought out and a real step up from the usual places I stay. Staff were friendly, helpful and made check-in easy. Breakfast was excellent too, proper continental spread with fresh fruit, pastries and local Whitestone cheese. location is perfect: walkable to the historic precinct, Steampunk HQ, cafes and the harbour. Nothing I didn’t like. If you come to Oamaru regularly, skip the usual options and stay here. I’ll be booking it again."

"Very cool crib. I would note the 4th bedroom is downstairs, which is only an issue if you have children. Otherwise it is an amazing, clean crib that is amazingly close to the beach and the pub."
