"This was our 5th time staying at the cottage. It is so comfortable and beautiful to stay in. It is so quiet, just the sounds of nature you really feel you have 'got away'. Sandra & Allan are the perfect hosts. We did bring our own lamp for reading in the lounge"

"Myself and my wife stayed at honeysuckle cottage for a 4 day break with are dog who was free to come with us the cottage was situated on a farm which was owned by Peter who was very welcoming when we arrived at the cottage he gave us so much information about the surrounding area he also got us milk butter and even a pack of Welsh cakes which we thought was a nice touch the village of mold was within driving distance and took about 10 minutes to get there if your wanting to eat out there was a lovely restaurant we went to called the pen y bont which was a lovely place and the staff in there where so friendly and nothing was to much trouble so if your looking for a nice little getaway with your pooch then this is for you we will be defiantly returning next year"

"This is a must visit cottage set in a peaceful quiet location with great views. Well equipped with everything you need. The town of Mold is only a short drive away with a good choice of places to eat and they have a good market every Saturday and Wednesday. The local pub is only mile up the road and they do a great Sunday Lunch. Last but not least the Owners Jo and Pete make you very welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them to make your stay perfect."

"Staff and the quality of the food were the only positives. General maintenance and cleanliness were extremely low with our room having a broken window hinge, the bin lid broken off, spit covering the bedroom mirror, the bath taps being brown around the outside, the toilet seat being the incorrect size for the toilet and the bath clearly had had a water leak that had damaged the side and not been replaced/covered. The spa was equally as bad with scum marks around the hot tubs and general lack of repair and maintenance in all areas... A toilet door lock came completely off in my hand!"

"We have just returned from a long weekend in this property it was truely lovely the lodge was clean and comfortable with everything you would need for a stay,it even had fresh flowers in the living and dining areas. The hosts were very helpful with any queries we had. The scenery was beautiful and it was nice watching the cows in the mornings.we will definitely be back."

"Gavin and Christopher have put a lot of thought into giving you an enjoyable stay at the Manorhaus Ruthin. The rooms are decorated reflecting welsh designs. The dining room has beautiful sculptures. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants"
