Beautiful facility with remarkable interior spaces. Everything is pricey. It’s big, like many in Vegas There’s a lot of congestion at the entrance It took 45 minutes to check in despite having maybe 15 clerks At 1:45pm, our room wasn’t ready. About the time we walked across the expansive lobby and up to a second level snack area we received a text that the room was ready. We fi eating a mediocre $30 sandwich, we went back to the front desk to get key-cards. Another 10 minute wait. The very nice staffers gave difference answers to the same questions, and shoved our curb-side luggage receipt back to me and said I had to call from the room when I was there. Very nice mid level suite with very sparse furniture but awesome views of the strip and the sphere. Unfortunately, the 200 ft electric sign was also in that side of the hotel. I slept okay but my wife complained that the disco lights from the sign kept her awake. It was very bright. Then rise only to find that there’s no coffee maker of any type and no way to make hot water for our own tea or coffee. It took until my third morning to locate the early24 hr coffee shop. By the time I got there, the $8 price didn’t seem too bad. The. I bought the $10 bottle of water. Dinner time came Saturday and we go out to cab line and it had about 120 people in it but it moved pretty good because half the people gave up and left. The room was very nice, large and clean...and surprisingly quiet. I have to say that was the best part. Too many casinos have thin walls. The Virgin Resort was quiet and had a good vibe. There were plenty of places to eat so we didn't have to leave if we didn't want to. The pool was heated and the bar next to it poured perfect cocktails. All in all a great 3 days weekend with my (adult) kids!
