About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Trail's End - Accommodates up to 4 and is pet friendly

Trail’s End offers privacy and unobstructed views of the Moab valley rim rock. Kickback on the porch, grill some food and toast to the setting sun. Wild turkeys, deer, bobcats, foxes, coyotes, and great horned owls frequent the property. Only 15 miles from Moab but a world apart from the bustle of town, the Ranch sits 2,000 feet above Moab offering a cooler, quiet retreat.

This cabin has a large bedroom and a large living room with a picture window. Trail’s End sleeps 4 with one bedroom and a foldout couch in the living room. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, the bathroom has a shower and WiFi is included. We are TV free.

The cabin is surrounded with mature trees providing plenty of shade. The Ranch barns, orchard and pastures, including one with a small goat herd, retain the land’s ranching history and a spa and swimming pool (typically open between Memorial day and Labor day) provide relaxation and a cooling respite on hot days. The expansive lawns are the perfect place for kids to roam.

Trail’s End is dog friendly. There’s a $15 per night fee for 1 or 2 dogs with a maximum of 2. Dogs aren’t allowed without prior approval and guest agreement to the nightly fee. We require a credit card on file for reservations with pets.

Once is enough
Window rattler is not A/C. Torn screens did not allow use of window ventilation. Many bugs and cobwebs inside. Bathroom poorly designed. Gas grill is good. Appliances appeared to work well. Bed mattress needs replacement.

Beautiful Area and Cozy Cottage
The cottage was nestled into a beautiful area that was quiet and away from the Moab hustle. The property was well maintained and had all the amenities. Accommodation of our two dogs was a plus!

Just ok
The good…views, private, quaint cabin, warm through the snowstorms, the ranch it sits on is adorable and amazing and the history of the ranch is incredible! The bad…no working hot tub, the absolute only reason my sister and I rented the property!! Huge bummer!! The heater was so loud when turning on it triggered my PTSD every time (every 5 min it turns on twice and runs about 3 min at a time), worst mattress on a bed I’ve ever tried to sleep on, like seriously the mattress is from the 80’s or early 90’s! The fold out couch mattress is even worse, I slept on the couch not the pull out! So after paying half of what my mortgage is for three nights to not sleep well nor get to sit in a hot tub I was thoroughly disappointed! Also someone was on the back porch straightening the bbq while we were gone! I don’t like that, I would have fixed the placement of the bbq prior to my leaving, it would move all on its own from the vibrations of us walking on it; I don’t want maintenance people or anyone around the property I pay money to rent. Also there’s a heater fan under the sink that’s on a timer it would turn on every twenty min to heat up the pipes under the sink that scared the crap out of me when first turning on. There’s an amazing invention called heat tape! There’s a plug under the sink so you can spend thirty dollars to wrap the pipe and plug it in so it doesn’t freeze then your guests can not be bothered by the fan turning on and vibrating the entire cabin. Will never stay again!! Bummer too because the ranch has huge potential!

Pack Creek—Trails End: A Little Peace of Heaven!
Our stay at Pack Creek—Trails End was the ideal place for us to stay while exploring the Moab area. Removed from the touristy, noise congestion in town but close enough to enjoy good restaurants and shopping when we wanted it. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing, comfortable and a beautiful area with great views. Would definitely stay there again!

Away from it all
Removed from the suburban and urban Moab area (but easily reachable), it’s the perfect escape for the rustic/outdoorsy type. We were on our MTB honeymoon road trip and it was perfect. There’s even the super surprise of an amazing hot tub spa area with pool, multiple really nice shower rooms, and even a yoga room facing the sunset. Not just another spa area in my opinion (hot tub was amazing after the 28.8 miles of the whole enchilada we rode). ALSO, VICKERS! VICKERS the super friendly husky that wonders around the property.

Private and comfortable
A charming location with a very private back patio giving the impression that you are living very much in your own space. Large and comfortable bed, cozy but very functional kitchen and a nice living room completes the interior. It was perfect as a base of operations for exploring the national parks in the area.
