"Good location but is dated. The owner is very nice and helpful. He stated that the motel is getting renovated but is dragging out due to challenges related to hurricane Helene in this small community."

"This cozy and comfortable mountain house served as a wonderful base for our mountain hiking trip. Conveniently located near the Blue Ridge Parkway and Linville Falls area, we were just a short ride away from amazing hikes and views.The owner was exceptionally helpful with suggestions and information. Very responsive and a pleasure to work with. The house has all the comforts you would want - outdoor fireplace and grill, spa, and comfortable furnishings both in and out.Additionally, we were a short ride from Banner Elk and Blowing Rock for some excellent food, treats, and shopping. A trip definitely worth making again. We look forward to another visit here soon! "
