"Clean room, great staff, but the buffet area has less options then other Barcelo hotels. The swim up bar is great but should be an adult only pool."

"My wife and I traveled to Mousai in September and again in May. We Never go to the same place twice, and we travel quite a bit. However, Hotel Mousai is unmatched in terms of the views, the amenities, the service and the FOOD! They have the best food of all theball inclusive resorts we have been to, hands down! Also, Huberto and Daniel were our butlers and they were the Absolute Best! They went above and beyond to make our celebrations special and they were extremely thoughtful and communicative. Karuma is one of the BEST steakhouses we have ever been to. We highly recommend Hotel Mousai PV and we will definitely be back again."

"We chose to stay at this hotel for one night to take advantage of their pool facilities while ours was undergoing maintenance. Unfortunately, the pool water was GREEN, the chaise lounges lacked shade and offered no umbrellas except for the perimeter tables. Furthermore, the property is in need of renovations and maintenance. The requirement to leave identification at the front desk to obtain pool towels, subpar mattress and pillow comfort, and questionable cleanliness standards, all contributing to a disappointing staycation experience."

"Paid for all inclusive and they had "premium" options so it wasnt really all inclusive. Front desk tried to upsell SPAs everytime they saw us . Had early check in and the concierge said room would be ready in about half an hour but waited almost 2 hours for it. Paid extra for a private beach dinner and when we showed up they weren't ready, they said you can come back tomorrow or wait about an hour an a half very unprofessional. The rooms speaker and tablet would not fully connect at times. Tried calling concierge for dinner reservations and they simply said that restaurants closed and hung up . Overall very nice room but for the price i paid I could have gone somewhere better with no extra add ons and no pressure into buying anything."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property, which boasts direct access to two of Puerto Vallarta's most beautiful, clean beaches just steps from the room. The stunning ocean views lasted all day, and the suite itself was highly functional, equipped with everything needed for cooking and cleaning. Having an on-site mini-market was incredibly convenient and helped us save on dining out.The location is excellent—centrally located near the area's best beaches and less than ten minutes from the Malecón, with a convenient bus stop right outside the Girasol building. While the downstairs restaurant and bar were convenient, the food was just average (3/5 stars).There were a few drawbacks to note: we encountered unexpected extra fees at both check-in and checkout (cleaning fee) despite we always clean up after our stays. Additionally, the ambient noise from the adjacent hotel's turbines unfortunately masked the natural sound of the ocean waves. While the room's cleanliness could be improved—specifically regarding dust and debris left under the bed—the bedding itself was exceptionally comfortable, offering some of the best sleep I've ever had.Overall, the owners have put great effort into creating an enjoyable stay, and we appreciated our time here."
