Very Nice Hotel. I recommend

Every clean hotel, friendly staff. The suite was clean and spacious. The only issues I had was the low water pressure in the shower and the air conditioner was extremely loud and rattled when turned on so we had to keep the heater on.

Great hotel! It just happened to be customer appreciation day and the staff grilled hotdogs and hamburgers, and a variety a cookies as a desert. They made a rotel dip with chips. With different pastas to have on the side as well, all for free! That was so convenient for me and my children, I will definitely be back for another stay when we’re in town.

Everything about the property was excellent. The room and lobby itself were clean and stocked up. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the TV was broken, the cups were dirty and we didn’t have anything to wash them. Overall it was a good stay, quiet and we got a good nights sleep.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was awesome. The staff was GREAT. Easy access from the freeway. So many different shops and eateries to choose from nearby. However, the cleanliness could be better. But overall just a wonderful stay.

Family-friendly and welcoming

What a great stay. We had another place booked and it wasn't habitable. We rented this quick on hotels.com and sped over. When we got there, they were already all booked. Evan at the front desk checked on a cancellation and got us in. Throughout the whole stay, everyone was so friendly and cordial. It seems that the whole group worked the entire weekend and we felt extremely welcomed each time they saw us.

Loved the layout and interior design! Everything was clean and tidy. The toilet chain kept slipping and would run for a long time which was annoying. I was also really disappointed to see no fruit/single serve options due to no breakfast.

This hotel was undergoing renovation. We entered a lobby under construction, filled with noise and construction dust. With some effort we did get attention from an employee who was very rude and blamed us for not knowing that renovation was taking place. The room was adequate but dirty from past guests.

The facility and rooms are clean and well kept. The exterior landscaping and surroundings are typical for a hotel located in a suburban area near a freeway. Lots of pavement and noise outside. The trash dumpster is unloaded Monday morning around 5:30. Several people with dogs. Pool and hot tub were closed. Wished this was posted on the hotel's web page. Close to zoo, mall of america, indoor shooting range and good restaurants. Reasonably priced.

Great stay

The hotel was very nice but when we arrived for check in there was no one at the desk. I ringed twice with in 20mins. The front desk person came and looked like he was busy checking rooms but then proceeded to question what was our reasoning for staying there. I’m not sure if that was just friendly or protocol for when they feel suspicious of someone. Over all the room was nice and clean, although the shower looked like it needed to be scrubbed. We were missing some blankets for the pull out but the front desk person took care of it right away. Great service over all and a place I would stay at again with our family. Price was great!

Sound proofing needs improvement

My room was recently updated. There were also very few dishes in the cupboards, and no hand soap. Only plastic utensils available (not ecofriendly!). However my main concern was the lack of sound proofing. The noise from the parking lot and hall way was one thing but I could hear my neighbor's conversation word for word. It was distracting and made it difficult to sleep.

The room was perfectly clean and perfect for our family. We have a 1 year old and a 3 year old. Two complaints. The indoor pool was freezing! We were super excited to be able to take the kids swimming after a day at MN Zoo but it was almost too cold to spend any significant time in. The “complimentary buffet style breakfast” was also a huge letdown. Breakfast is an important amenity for families traveling. Offerings included tator tots, fried bologna, Raisin Bran, Corn Flakes, Cinnamon Raisin Bagels, and oatmeal. Juices were empty. I felt terrible for the woman working who stated she does what she can with what is ordered but that there often just isn’t food to make for the guests. We ended up feeding the kids some tator tots and snacking on our own food in our room.
