The house was very nice and clean. we stayed there Thursday through Sunday. The owner was very easy to communicate with when I had questions. Great price for my family and I for three nights in Saint Paul. Just minutes away from where my nephew‘s wedding took place. Plenty of space. The two car arrived was nice. The neighborhood seemed a little bit tough, but the neighbors were very cordial. Great access to local Catholic Church, Vietnamese bakery, and Como Park zoo I Would went there again.

short falls of property

At first glance interior looked good. Pillows were so thin in all the rooms didn't offer any support, master bedroom sink drained very slowly, vents dirty/ dusty, very low shower water pressure, shower door was off the track. Kitchen pans were end of life need new set. Garage service door didn't have a key to lock and unlock. Bathroom off of the kitchen had no soap and no where to hang a towel and door latch didn't work. Other door locks thru out the house didn't work as well. The neighbor hood didn't look inviting.

What a mess

The first problem was there was no communication from Vrbo or host about check-in. When I messaged host thru Vrbo he didn't respond. So I called and him. He said that the check-in info was sent and argued with me. He then said he would send it. I waited 10 mins. And called him back he said he would get it in a minute, again I waited. This all started at 6:30pm. Finally got codes for doors at 7:15. We arrived property at at 7:45 and tried the codes. Nothing worked, the batteries were dead for the front door and the only way to get to the back door is to jump a fence. The garage door code didn't work either. Host finally opened garage door remotely. Took 1/2 hour to get in. The next morning we had to leave 1 person at house because we couldn't lock the door. And the neighborhood isn't the greatest. No parking!!!!! There was empty food containers and water bottles under beds. Only 4 bath towels had to do laundry and there was wet clothes in dryer. Dirty dishes in dishwasher. No hand towels, or hand soap. The trouble with main TV. Someone finally showed up around 12 to put batteries in the locks and looked at the TV and couldn't fix. I have sent the host a message asking him to make things right and haven't heard a word. It's been 24 hours.

The house was the perfect location for us. It had enough room for our family plus my sister to stay for a family wedding. The home was clean and the owner worked with me on getting an earlier check in time.
