cozy mountain cabin retreat with HEAT PUMP for air conditioning or heat. Located in the mountains just a few minutes from lake Almanor and Mountain town of Chester.Creeks, Hunting, Fishing, UTV or ATV mountain off-roading , within 2-3 miles distance.... Winter is special and beautiful with snow and perfect setting for Christmas and Thanksgiving away . 2 blocks away within walking distance is a quaint restaurant offering home cooked food. All towns people are very friendly welcoming all who visit. Spring is delightful in the pine tree setting all around. and the aroma of pine where squirrels, rabbits, deer are visible everywhere in the rustling woods..

We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful and cozy cabin with abundant amenities. The host, Debi, is very nice and thoughtful in providing us a comfortable, warm and clean place for our trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Checking in/out was easy and straightforward. Communication with Debi was smooth and quick via Vrbo. The cabin is well equipped and plenty of amenities from kitchen to bathroom and bedroom. Overall, we love the place and will definitely return in the future.

Great house and location

This house was clean and very well stocked with everything we might need. They even left some snack out which my kids loved. Great location to Lassen Volcanic National Park. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Lassen Volcanic base camp

This cabin made for a great base camp while visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park. It had everything we could need (and more) inside. The location was very close to the main road through the park and was within walking distance of the Mineral Lodge which had some great food.

Wonderful Place to stay to explore Larsen area!

We loved this great place. In the adorable town of Mineral, this cabin was the perfect place to stay to explore the area. Right down the road from Lassen Volcanic NP. It was comfortable and the owners did everything possible to make the stay homey and easy. Well stocked with all you could need. We would highly recommend it.

I visited Mineral to hike in Lassen. The property was very well maintained and clean! Debi was incredibly helpful and responsive! I would very happily stay here again for my next visit!

Lassen NP Visit

I think we hit the rainiest day of the summer😆. The cabin was close to the park and in a great little town. We met a lot of nice folks and enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Gateway to Lassen National Park

Lassen National Park visit

My wife and I stayed at this property during our recent visit to Lassen National Park. This property was a short drive to the park and very easy to find. The property was clean, the kitchen very well stocked and the bed very comfortable. I was impressed with the personal items the owner thought of such as night lights, toothbrushes/cases and toothpaste! If in the area, I would stay here again.

Great little gem!

Met some girlfriends here to hike the surrounding area. We loved the town and neighborhood. The house felt so welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of extra little touches. The place was very clean and well laid out. Would highly recommend!
