Auckland (AKL) to Tokyo (HND)
9.6/10 Exceptional! (878 reviews)
First off, place was so clean and there's a coffee shop downstairs! Love that! Place is also sooo close to Sensō-ji temple which is so nice if youre a tourist because you could visit there so early in the morning or late in the evening which is great to avoid the crowd. We did early morning walk and I loved it! I regret staying for 1 night only. Our trip was tokyo-osaka-tokyo. I regret not choosing this property when we went back to Tokyo. There's very few reviews about this property so I thought it was a scam LOL but it's not! Staff was also very very nice and friendly. They have self check-in and check-out kiosk by the front desk but staff was so nice to welcome and help us. Room size I got was small. Not much place to store large suitcases. You may wanna choose bigger room if you have large suitcases. But room was clean, also smells clean. I will definitely book this place when we get back.

The hotel was quite nice and the meals at the restaurant (whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner) were all exceptionally good (though not an inexpensive experience!).

"We absolutely loved the private onsen in our room. Staff was very helpful in ordering a cab to the train station. I would skip the full board dinners in favor of supporting the local businesses!"
