"The house is comfortable, newly renovated, and the horse farm setting is peaceful - enjoyed waking up to lots of bird song. The beds are very comfortable, and nice plush towels are provided. We were there during a heat wave - the window a/c units are only in the bedrooms and were on pretty much all the time, which is ok during the day but noisy at night. Kevin is prompt and responsive to questions."

"Although the area and the view were fabulous and the accommodations were nice, I cannot give a five-star rating due to several things. It seems like there might have been an issue with the cleaning service. The dishwasher was still full of dishes. They were clean but it was never emptied. The washer and dryer were full of linens. The microwave had a lot of spatters on the walls. There were no top sheets on the beds. And the hot tub was not usable since it was murky water with stuff on the bottom. In the kitchen, all the pans are burnt. The dishes and drinking glasses are all cheap plastic. It’s like what you use for your five year old. So, as I said. It was very nice to sit in the gazebo and look out over the lake and watch the wildlife, but there were a lot of cleaning issues."

"We had such a lovely stay over Mother’s Day weekend. The house was tidy and clean, and a nice amount of toys and coloring books for kids, which was thoughtful. Very spacious, and perfect for the rainy day when we weren’t able to go outside. It was a beautiful acreage to take walks and not noisy even though we were a hop and a skip off the main highway. We would definitely recommend booking this spot for a getaway with friends, and we’re already dreaming of returning on our next trip to the area! "

"The house was very lovely. Very private, very isolated, absolute peace and quiet. Just be a little cautious when driving on the property; especially when it snowed. Perfect weekend getaway. House was spacious and pleasant. Firewood was easy to access; just a little walking but it’s not bad. Host were fast to respond with anything. The house has basic necessities such as cookware and ingredients. House can be cold when entering. Heating set up is easy. Just let it warm up a while. Directions for what to do when leaching were straightforward. Highly recommend this house for a private getaway."
