"Good budget-friendly accommodation with a great pub next door. Bed was fine, could really feel the springs in the mattress but slept OK. Two small, sharp points sticking out of the carpet near the bathroom door. Painful to accidentally step onto. Stayed 3 nights, didn't get housekeeping at all during the stay. Hung the sign outside to make up the room, nobody came to do it. Additionally, reception rarely staffed."

"Staff were extremely helpful and nothing was any trouble at all Dogs and pets are very welcome and there are dog beds, treats in the bar and if you book a pet there is a pet welcome pack, bed, bowls, treats in the room Stayed 2 nights, the breakfast was excellent and i could not fault the evening meal all food was well presented and taste delicious, I ordered starters and sides rather than a full meal and it was enough food for me. The pub atmosphere was great everyone was chatty and welcoming, including other guests and locals, as a female solo traveller that kind of social vibe made me feel relaxed and safe. I would definitely stay again or drop in for a drink and meal."

"Friendly and professional staff. Wonderful evening meal (the Halloumi Flatbread was delicious). Good parking, spacious bedroom well appointed. The chilled complimentary fruit juice & water was much appreciated after a 400 mile journey! My only issue was that room 4 was right over the outside seating area and I can only imagine that during World Cup season this could prove to be a problem. As it was I did have the creaking stairs (access for all guests) and loud music blasting from the bar below close to midnight. Staff were apologetic but I was so annoyed at the disturbance I didn’t sleep a wink after that."
