"We spent a week in this apartment and found it an ideal base for local outings, including Taormina and Etna. Forza d'Agro is a bit like a hill-top Sicilian St Ives - all tiny alleys and steep streets and stairs, with excellent restaurants. The chocolate museum was pretty original too! "We had a great vacation at Salvatores house in Pace del Mela. The garden and pool are really big and are perfect to relax and have a good time. Hotel a due minuti dal mare, spiaggia pulitissima e un mare limpido. Trovi sempre dove parcheggiare. Parcheggio gratuito sulla strada. Vi raccomando solo di non andare al ristorante ACCABBANNA, che si trova in zona. Il proprietario ha già i prezzi più cari della zona e inoltre vuole truffarvi ancor di più gonfiando i prezzi. Per esempio un bottiglia d'acqua cl 75, sul listino è Euro 2,50 ma lui poi vi segna Euro 5. Un amaro è Euro 3, na lui poi vi fa pagare Euro 5. Insomna cerca di fregarvi almeno 10 Euro o più. E se glielo fate notare, magari corregge qualcosina accampando scuse. Ristorante da evitare."
