Connie's cottage (9753 Shore Dr.) is waterfront cottage with its own direct beach access and incredible water views of the Delaware bay. Enjoy the sounds of the beach and watch the sunsets from the large deck that fronts the beach. Prime Hook Beach is a quiet private beach community.

Open concept floorplan - Living, dining and kitchen w/ window views overlooking the bay. Well-equipped kitchen with SS appliances which include: dishwasher, 5- burner glass top stove, side by side full size refrigerator w/icemaker in door, blenders, coffee maker w/carafe & K cup ability. Granite countertops & large island w/seating for (3).

Living room w/lg. smart TV, deep comfortable sofa, enjoy the swivel chairs as you watch TV or views of the water. Dining table w/seating for (4). Board & card games are available, along with a sound bar for your entertainment on those rainy days & relaxing movie night.

Bedroom #1 - Queen bed w/ on-suite bathroom & smart TV. Bedroom #2 - (2) twin beds w/ smart TV & access to hallway bath. New 2025; Purely Coastal Cleanse shampoo, conditioner, body wash & lotion provided for your convenience in each bathroom.


New 2025, lower-level secured door access with furnished den. Grab a book to read, watch TV or play games.

Laundry room with washer/dryer and storage.

Have your coffee on the deck in the mornings or watch the sunsets in the evenings. Deck is equipped with poly deck chairs, & lounge seating, w/umbrella. We ask that you please not apply spray sunscreen while on the deck. New outdoor charcoal grill, beach chairs & boogie boards available for your days on the beach.

This Bayfront beach is children & pet friendly w/ calm waters, low riptides and small waves. Bring your floats, paddle boards or kayaks and enjoy the water or walk the low tide sandbars and hunt for shells. Lifeguards are not provided.

Food Lion grocery store approx. 15 min away in Milton, DE. While in Milton visit the Dogfish Head Brewery, or grab a bite at the Dough Bar, Irish Eyes or Tequila Real. Lewes is approx. 25 minutes south of PHB or head to Rehoboth Beach board walk approx. 45 min. away.

This cottage is perfect for small family- the kitchen is open to the living area and had a lot of necessary kitchen items. The basement area is great for kids and hanging out. The deck was perfect with an awesome view. We loved our stay!

Stay here!

The ocean view from the deck is enough to entice you to stay here! It's an easy walk to a peaceful beach. The house is clean, inviting, and beautifully decorated. We've stayed here twice and already have it booked for next year! Communication with the host was excellent. It's an easy drive to the store, several great restaurants, and Rehoboth! Stop searching. This is a great vacation spot!

Wonderful Stay at Primehook Beach

Everything about our stay at this lovely beach home was perfect. The view of the Delaware Bay and the proximity to the beach was terrific! The owners have provided a very clean, comfortable place to stay for their guests. We already look forward to our next visit.

Great little beach house

Our family and small dog spent a lovely week in this well appointed cottage on the beach. The house is very clean and comfortable with an awesome deck. Beach chairs and a kayak were a bonus!

Relax on the beach

We really enjoyed our stay! The home had everything we needed and was well appointed and comfortable. Direct access to the beach and the nearby wildlife refuge made the visit really special. Peaceful and quiet. Overall a real winner.

Peaceful Getaway

The house is very clean, well maintained and has a very peaceful feel. The dune crossing onto the beach is a little steep but the privacy and proximity to the water can’t be beat. Definitely worth the trip!

Lovely cottage by the bay

We enjoyed our stay at this little gem of a cottage. Everything was new and fresh and clean. Location was beautiful and quiet, even on a holiday weekend. Check-in was super easy. We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxed time at this beach cottage.

Perfect private beach spot!

Steps from the beach, which we had to ourselves all week! Could listen to the waves from the porch and felt like you were the only one around - so peaceful! Was a short drive from many fun breweries, small towns, and great spots to eat. The place itself was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need! Perfect for a relaxing family getaway to Delaware!

Just Wonderful!!!

My husband and I and our little bunny had the best time for the week we stayed here. We loved it so much we already booked the same week for next year. The house is perfect in so many ways and all the little touches make it feel so welcoming. Robin is a wonderful host and very attentive and the house being beachfront and pet friendly is the icing on this wonderful cake.

Perfection - Rest and Recharge!

My husband and I stayed for the weekend at this lovely cottage. We stay at many VRBO properties and this is definitely one of our favorites now. The house was clean, updated and located perfectly in a quiet neighborhood. It was spacious and cozy at the same time. We were able to prepare all of our meals in the fully stocked kitchen. It was truly a relaxing weekend of looking at the ocean and listening to the waves at this beach front home. We can't wait to return!

Awesome Place!

This was our second time back to this beautiful little slice of heaven. A quiet place to come and go to the beach as you please. The place was clean and decorated so cute! We loved the added plus of the added linens and towels this year! Saved on packing! The husband and kids didn’t love the mosquito’a but that’s not the properties issue, that’s just the location in general from what I hear. Highly recommend and planning on returning again!

Beachy Birthday Getaway

I fell in love with this place! The house is beautiful and the location was just what I wanted. Quiet, so I had the solitude I was seeking, but a only a short drive to anything I could possibly want. Close enough to home that my daughter and best friends popped in to surprise me for my birthday proper, and the couldn’t say enough nice things about the place.

Lovely home for a family of four

We loved our week at Prime Hook. The house was great - a cozy bungalow right on the beach. Perfect for a family of four. It was updated, adorably decorated, and stocked with all the essential kitchen supplies and beach necessities (floats, chairs, umbrellas). Low tide was great for our little kiddos. And the beach itself is very quiet. We had the whole thing to ourselves almost every day. We would recommend this house to anyone with little ones who aren't quite ready for the hustle and bustle of a busy beach and big waves.

A delightful place to unwind!

We came to celebrate our 42nd anniversary. The view was delightful. The kitchen very well equipped. Comfortable couch and bed! Our daughter rented down the street with our three grandchildren so at times our cottage was the meal gathering space, game room, movie night couch, beach entry point. The open kitchen/gathering space was the best place to be during our visit. We will be back!

Second Time Still Prime

Return renters to this property and it is still perfect for our family. Our 5 and 2 1/2 year old had a blast in the bay. The house is perfect with its short walk to the beach and amazing sunrise views over the water. The removal of the bunks and addition of two twin beds in the 2nd bedroom was a nice touch. Having a full size washer/dryer is also awesome being at the beach with 2 kids. Love this place and will hopefully be back soon!

Stop searching- stay here!

As soon as I stepped into the cottage, I said to my family, “We are booking this place again!” It was exactly what we wished for! The view of the ocean is perfection! The walk takes all of ten seconds. The home is cozy, clean, and welcoming. We have already booked our vacation here for next summer! The communication with the host exceeded expectations. Stop searching. Book this cottage!

April Reunion

A friend and I had a wonderful reunion together and the house was perfect for the occasion. We are both retired (older) so we wanted a house on the water where we could enjoy being by the ocean without having to trek to the beach. The early Spring weather was cooler than we had hoped, but we thoroughly enjoyed cozy house with lots of ocean-side windows. Our host was always prompt in responding to our questions and the house was as described. When we arrived the house was spotlessly clean and we found a welcome bag that included a bottle of wine. Thank you. Since there were only two of us, the two bedroom, two bath setup was perfect. We have already discussed a possible return in the Fall for another brief reunion.
