"Small but perfect room, all the conveniences we needed for a three day stay (in early October). Beach front view was terrific, the place was quiet, with very few people on the beach at this time. We enjoyed hearing the ocean all night with no other noise. The Surf Club does not have an elevator, but they do have a dumb waiter that can be used to get heavy luggage up the 2-4 flights of stairs to the rooms. Staff were excellent! And this place is only a short, easy drive to Rehobeth when we wanted more shopping or people activities."

"This is a new frills,, close to the beach, hotel with great access to restaurants and other attractions on the Rehoboth Boardwalk.Great side view of the ocean from the balcony and easy access to get on the beach. Staff were super friendly and allowed us to check in early since the room was available. Would definitely stay here since it’s an incredibly good value for the money."

"The staff was extremely gracious, welcoming and helpful. I cannot express enough how CLEAN this hotel is. They were cleaning morning, noon, and night. They were even cleaning the deceptive pillows the day we checked out. The beach and village are not even a 10 minute walk down the street. They puget a continental breakfast daily and 24/7 coffee in the lobby. Definitely a good find! Will stay again. "

"Whether you are at the beach for a getaway or here on business and just want a no-frills hotel just to lay your head at the end of the night, this is the place. I come to town a lot for business, and I spend my days visiting clients. At the end of the day I just want a place to sleep. I don't need a bar (there are plenty within walking distance), a pool (the ocean is a block away), or other amenities that would be needed where I travel elsewhere. If you're looking for the same - a place to just sleep at a decent price - look nowhere else. The price is seriously half of what the cheapest hotels charge, but don't expect a hair dryer, iron, free breakfast, coffee in the lobby or anything else. As I stated above, this is a place with zero frills. However, even though the price may suggest, this is not a cheap roach-infested motel or a place that's been run down to bare bones minimum by a family from India. It's VERY clean! It's not super modern, but it is adequate. The owner is very friendly, compassionate, and accommodating - everything you would expect from a front desk person but much more personable. He's an everyday beach guy so don't expect someone to come out with a suit and tie. This isn't the Hilton and not intended to be. It is the best place to stay in town for the money."
