With the continued impacts of COVID-19  travelling now comes with more challenges than in the past. Cast your eye over the following tips before boarding your plane to Mildura and Murray Outback:

• Find out the restrictions and rules in both your origin and destination. You may not be able to travel depending on local circumstances, so be sure to check before you lock in your flight.
• You must wear a face mask throughout your travel experience, including at security checkpoints. You should be prepared to lower your mask for identification purposes when asked by a TSA officer.
• Instead of handing a TSA agent your boarding pass, position it straight on the reader yourself. After that, hold it up for inspection.
• TSA is now allowing passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on luggage. This will need to be removed from your bag and presented for screening.
• Place any personal items (like your phone and wallet) in your carry-on instead of a bin to minimize handling during screening.
• If you want to take food through the screening checkpoint, put it in a clear plastic bag and then into a screening bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA employee will need to handle your carry-on bag or food container for closer inspection.
