Fantastic room with so much space for us as a family. Although the location is just off the strip, we found it easy to use taxis. We enjoyed the pool area, much quieter than other hotels we have stayed at on the strip. I think the size helps with multiple pools. Being able to take your own drinks to the pool and complimentary towel use for guests is a real winner. Booked to see WOW and received upgraded seats last minute as it was pretty quiet, I recommend this show for families. Would definitely stay at the Rio again.

Great hotel. My second time staying there. I liked it so much the first time I stayed there. Great amenities, very attentive staff, always staffed so you feel safe, even late at night. It is not on the Strip, so keep that in mind. It’s like a 15 minute walk, which isn’t too bad, but can potentially be difficult for people with health issues, especially in the heat. But there’s plenty of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, so you might not even want to go to the Strip for a meal if you don’t want to. It’s also far quieter, if you like that sort of environment, than the Strip. You can walk around at night and not have to encounter large groups of people walking around. Overall, I’ve enjoyed both of my stays. It’s a very well run operation , almost “idiot proof”. I look forward to staying there a third time!

I have a friend staying in the hospital nearby. This was easy to get to the food at the Italian restaurant was great and having shampoo and everything in the bathrooms worked out perfectly for us.. The staff was very friendly whenever we needed anything.
