Beautifully remodeled farmhouse tucked back on a quiet cul de sac in the heart of midway on half an acre. Gorgeous setting and yard with lots of space and beautiful gardens. Ride your bike or walk into town. Midway Main Street is just a mile away with fun shops and restaurants. You also can walk up to Wasatch State park or over to the famous Midway Dairy. Absolutely charming house and location!

Ice Castle get away

We stayed in this midway home for a wedding weekend. We actually held the rehearsal dinner in the backyard. Our stay was comfortable and we enjoyed hosting the rehearsal dinner there.

Retreat

Great accommodations near the Homestead Lodge. We had family and two dogs and it was a perfect place for us while attending a weekend family wedding. It’s not fancy but very comfortable and would definitely rent it again.

Comfortable Stay in the Farmhouse

My daughter and I stayed in the remodeled farmhouse while we were in Midway for her diving certification. Everything was perfect. Clean, well stocked, and we enjoyed the yard swings. We loved the neighborhood- it is a beautiful mix of historic structures and modern homes, with a charming semi-rural feel. Thanks for sharing this perfect place!

Great family home

I was there with my parents who are in their 80’s and teenage daughter. The layout was terrific with primary suite on the main floor. There were 2 big bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom which gave us all space. We travelled w dogs and the (nearly) fenced backyard and nearby dog park were much appreciated.

Weekend Getaway

My friends and I like to go to Midway once or twice a year to craft or scrapbook. This house was perfect for us. It's a short four minute drive to the center of town or a 20 minute walk. It's in a quiet cul-de-sac. We were able to watch deer coming and going in the early morning and evening times. We would definitely stay here again if its available.

Charming, Well-Kept and Private

I rented this house for a small birthday dinner. The house was enchanting, especially the yard. The house had plenty of space for the 9 of us, clean bedrooms, clean and updated bathrooms, and a great kitchen for cooking. We spent a lot of time in the backyard as well looking at the stars and swinging on the swings. I would definitely rent this place again. It was a little romantic.

No communication from host until night before we checked out. The front door was unlocked to just walk in. Address was wrong, we had to memorize from last year how to get there. Upstairs bathtub was dirty. Found balloons and pictures from the 21st birthday party before us. Two out of the three bathrooms ran out of toilet paper. Dishes were still in dishwasher when we got there. Not impressed.

The house is in a great location and a good size/layout but it was very dirty. The sheets on the beds on the main floor were all dirty when we arrived as well as the bathroom rugs. We also found old dried dog feces stuck to the family room rug upstairs. It didn’t seem like any of the house had been cleaned before our arrival. The bbq was filthy as well. We had to clean it before we could use it. The air conditioning didn’t work on either level. The temp downstairs was in the high 70’s and in the 80’s upstairs which made it difficult to sleep.

Awesome Property

I was a first time VRBO customer - the host provided the address well before check as I had several out of town family members coming for a wedding. I would recommend maybe 4-6 Folding chairs for extra seating and a Lifetime table as it was a little awkward for a family meal but we got by. If you could provide more hand towels and small bath towels I'm sure the guest would appreciate that. The only other item mentioned by our family was the back deck as it is very steep and the second and third step slope down a bit causing a family member to slip and fall... I think a larger deck with gradual steps would be much safer and appreciated. The back door was missing the handle and when shut we could not get back in the property unless we came to the front door. Don't mean to nit pick but overall the property was a great for our event and comes highly recommended. The host communicated quickly and met our needs and we appreciate the service!

Generally, the property was really pretty good. The kitchen was excellent and well stocked with the necessary cooking appliances. The listing mentions that the property was a "Gorgeous Remodeled Farmhouse", however the showers were not functional, the showerheads were plugged, and the hot water only lasted for one shower. The flooring was not finished with parts that would catch your feet. Some of our family members were not able to do stairs where the tv was located so we had to move the tv downstairs. The stairs were unfinished. There were no instructions on how to run the fireplace. We replaced the batteries in the control, but that was not the issue at all. It seems that it runs on the temperature in the room. We recommend that the bedrooms are furnished with dressers, and the bunkbeds need to have rails on the side. We did move the top bunk mattress to the floor.
