The Zermatt Resort & Spa is a 4-Star Resort & Spa nestled in the Wasatch mountains next to Deer Valley and Park City in beautiful Midway, Utah. Midway is an idyllic Swiss-themed mountain village with a vibrant Main Street that boasts unique shopping and great independent restaurants/bakeries. The Zermatt Resort is only 15 minutes from Sundance, Deer Valley, and Park City, making it an ideal spot to experience a variety of venues and attractions such as Midway's Soldier Hollow--an official 2002 Winter Olympic venue.

Also nearby are two of the state's top rated golf courses--Soldier Hollow & Wasatch Mountain. Both courses are consistently ranked among the best courses in the state. The Deer Creek & Jordanelle Reservoirs are very popular during the Summer months. They offer every kind of water sport activity from swimming to boating and everything in between. Property and room very nice. With the description of a kitchenette we assumed there would be at least minimal cookware and dishes so we did have to adjust on our meal plans, but that was not a big deal.

It was a good deal for the money, clean, quiet, and friendly staff. It was convenient and I was very happy that there was a casual restaurant inside the property and also a bakery with coffee and pastries, and another more upscale restaurant on the premises since the resort is far away from other shopping or restaurants which I am fine with. The only inconvenience was that I thought I saw a drop of blood in the corner of one of the sheets and I took a picture and showed it to the front desk and also sent a text to Scott the Manager who communicated with me throughout my stay, but neither he or the front desk answered me regarding this issue. So, I checked if the other corner of the sheet had also any drop of blood and there it was. Nobody explained to me that was the markings for the sheet, which I think should be in blue not in red so that nobody gets confused.

We had a couple of issues with the property (it happens) but the manager was quick in taking care of it. Great location and great stay.
