"Definitely an older hotel, but it was clean. I chose the suite because it had a separate room for my kids with a sofa bed. There were no sheets or blankets for the extra bed, we had to go down twice to ask for everything we needed. I was sent an email that let me choose a checkout time. I chose 11am as my kids had a very late night at a sporting event. At about 9:30am one of the staff came banging on the door, when I opened it he asked if we were "okay" and proceeded to walk away. This woke my kids up and was just very strange and unnecessary."

"We checked into our room and I went to the window to pull them down and a cockroach 2 inches long ran across the room. We grabbed our stuff and left. The lady up front was nice. They didn’t give us a refund."

"The microwave was not working and I called to the front desk on Tuesday evening to let them know and they told me that the maintenance man will check on it the next morning,I went to a family day day event at Fort Jackson Army Base and had been gone partially all day upon arriving back late that evening the microwave still wasn’t working and didn’t work for my whole stay,Also the breakfast was repeated (the same food)every morning and was cold and swimming in water with no taste(sausage,eggs,gravy)all was horrible,Also I wasn’t told that after I arrived to check in that there was a $150 deposit to pay after I done paid for the room a month in advance,very unsatisfied customer"

"We booked this for one night. We were greeted immediately by a professional, friendly staff member. We were told that no one would be at the front desk between 9pm (I believe) and 7am. It was past 9pm when we settled into our room for the night. So we didn’t notice prior that there were roaches. We had to be up at 4am the next day so we just did our best to smash them and sleep, which was impossible because my daughter was afraid one would crawl on her face in the middle of the night. Needless to say we didn’t sleep well at all. The room smelled like it had been a smoking room and reeked of stale smoke. When my daughter got done with her shower, she put a towel on the floor to wipe up the water she had dripped on it and the towel was literally brown after. Our white socks were black after walking around in them for just a short time. The pillows were SO flat and the sheets and mattress protector were a little too tight for the bed and so it kept coming off the mattress, which wasn’t the cleanest. Other than the hallways smelling bad, we didn’t notice anything else so bad it stood out. We booked this room because it was cheaper than other options. I knew we weren’t staying in the nicest motel/hotel around. I’ve stayed in cheap motels & they were fine because they were clean. But between the roaches & the nasty floor, we didn’t want to touch anything. Would NOT recommend and would have left if we didn’t have to be up so early the next AM and had to stay more than one night. "
