"We were travelling with bicycles and requested a room on the ground floor so we could avoid hauling them up stairs or elevators. They not only accommodated our request, but gave us a room with its own door to the outside, like a motel, which made it very convenient. The room was spacious even with two adult-size bikes inside. The room was clean with a reasonable layout, the beds were comfortable with several pillows of varying firmness. The toilet and tub & shower was separate from the vanity which was just outside the bathroom door. One thing that could be added is a smart tv with access to common streaming services and YouTube. Staff at the front desk were very helpful when we asked for a restaurant recommendation. We enjoyed it so much that we went there for breakfast the next morning. (Yavis is the name of the restaurant.) Breakfast is included with the room so we ate there on the first morning. They had the typical "breakfast included" foods. Scrambled and hard boiled eggs. Cereal, muffins, bagels, and bread for toast. Sausages. No waffles, but a pancake machine that made 2 (very small) pancakes at a time. Coffee, tea, juice, milk etc. If we were to ever do the same trip, we'd definitely stay at Canalta Jurassic again."

"House is old and showing its age, but it has been turned into a quaint little home away from home. Much smaller than we expected but okay for the two of us for a couple of nights. Beautifully tidied for our arrival - kudos to the cleaning crew! Very well outfitted kitchen. Took my hubby a while to get used to doing dishes by hand, though, LOL! Great communication with management company beforehand, and accessible when we had a problem with the lock (instructions on how to use the keypad would be helpful). Clear instructions/expectations and helpful recommendations in guest binder. Pet friendly, but glad we were able to leave the dog at home because he could have gotten out of the yard through a gap in the fence beside the gate. Nice to have yard though, and fence could easily be sealed. Don't like that booking is non-refundable if cancelling within 30 days of arrival date. We took a chance that nothing was going to come up. Overall a good visit, but felt a bit pricey given size and condition. Guess it was still summer/high season, plus you do pay extra for special amenities like pet-friendly, private yard and patio. Would probably stay again depending on season (ie. price) and whether or not dog was joining us (he needs fenced yard)."

"It was a beautiful place that had everything we needed to be comfortable. We enjoyed all the amenities; the playground, ping-pong table, pool table, hot tub, kitchen, outdoor space and large TV. This house was a hidden gem for our large family."

Check-in was easy, and the hosts even have a helpful binder of nearby things to do and all the information about the house and checkout process! We loved our stay!"

"Pros:The property was clean and well maintained. Everything we need were provided.It has enough space for 10 and the children to play. Cons:The bathroom doesn't lock. The property smells of paint when we arrived which isn't good for ones health. Perhaps, it will be more convenient to add a bathroom at the basement."
