Memorable Cottage near Third Beach & Satchuset Pt. Reserve

The cottage is an an ideal location. The cottage has two separate private bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the 2nd bedroom a full size Brd with another Roll Away bed. One Bathwih a stall shower. NEW OUTDOOR SHOWER and changing room. Very private.
Both bedrooms have luxurious bed linens and towels!
The kitchen is loaded with everything you need......Including a Lobster Pot. The cottage is fully equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, fully stocked with spices and utensils . Essential cooking tools, Plates,, pots & pans, etc. wine, champagne and drinking glasses.
The living area has hi-speed internet, smart TV with full cable access, TV, Books, board games, novelty games and cards.
Bring your personal amenities and perishable food supplies.
The backyard is very private and feels like a sanctuary. The outdoor shower with hot and cold running water is great day or evening. The outdoor seating area is a great way to unwind after a day at the beach. Have a glass of wine Have dinner under the pergola, fully lit with beautiful lighting or sit on the back deck at the high top table and chairs.
If you want to stay home and BBQ use the Webber grill. Always with a tank of propane ready to go!

Excellent vacation house

The cottage was fantastic. It was cute and cozy and the property owner Lori was beyond accommodating. We cannot wait to get back here and continue to explore.

Adorable cottage

Lori was an excellent host. She was extremely thoughtful and responsive. We had an incredible girls weekend staying at the cottage. The house is stocked with anything you may need for a wonderful trip. Would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect cottage in Newport!

Lori’s cottage was the perfect spot for a girl’s trip in Newport. It was stocked with every amenity we could ask for and was a convenient location to get into town or the beach. It was super quiet and private- we really enjoyed the outdoor furniture and shower! Easy communication with Lori before and during the stay. Will absolutely be staying here again on our next trip.

Family trip

Lori was a wonderful and attentive host - has thought of everything you might need at the cottage and during your stay. Beautiful, serene location close to town but country setting. Highly recommend it, and hope we will be back!

Terrific cottage, terrific spot

One could not ask for more than a cozy cottage, a friendly and helpful owner, in a lovely part of the world. We listened to birds sing, watched the sun rise at a nearly by nature preserve, turned the beautiful, nearby church yard of the historic St. Columba chapel, and drove to the nearby, sandy Middletown beaches. It's a beautiful area, if you enjoy nature and nearby good markets and restaurants you cannot go wrong to stay in this comfortable and well stocked cottage set in a beatufil yard with great furnishings.

Charming cottage

The cottage is very charming and so perfectly located near beautiful beaches and a short distance to historic Newport. Lori tips for local eating spots and grocery shopping were so helpful. She is a very attentive host and helped to make our stay memorable.

The Cottage

The cottage is a jewel we were so fortunate to find! Lori is an amazing Host! Everything is there for a relaxing peaceful stay. The home is well appointed and the linens are so very nice, The kitchen has everything!! Overall a delightful home to return to after a day at the beach or spending the day seeing the sights in Newport. Definitely will return. Thank you Lori for creating such a lovely place to vacation.

Peaceful getaway

Lori’s cottage was a wonderful place for us to escape to for a few days. We loved the location. 10 minutes from plenty of attractions. The cottage is comfortable and extremely peaceful. Took every shower in the outdoor shower taking in the sun and birds. We highly recommend her cottage if you’re in need of some down time!

Beautiful home away from home

The cottage was exactly as pictures showed. It was immaculate, well stocked, adorably decorated and very welcoming. The air conditioning worked superbly and the washer and dryer were an additional bonus. It was centrally located to everything in Newport and Middletown. We hope to stay again next summer.

Great experience

We had a great time staying at Lori’s rental in Middletown. This was our second time renting her property. We stayed with our 3 young children and it was great! They loved the fire pit and s’mores. The outdoor area/pergola was great to sit outside at when we got takeout. The location is wonderful and close to everything. Would absolutely recommend!

Great Stay and Tranquil

I want to say that this property is quite the gem. It was within a nook of town that really made you feel a part of an escape. Yet, you were still close enough in short drive to get to city life if needed. The space was big enough for everyone and we were able to spread out comfortably. I really appreciated the cleanliness and the smores packet. The beds were comfortable as well.

I value a quiet, sound sleep, especially when I’m on vacation, and this little cottage delivered that and more! The cottage is very clean and because it was just me who stayed there, it was just the right size. The kitchen provided adequate supplies for a short stay like mine. The shower worked well and the cottage was nice and cool during the high temperatures we were experiencing. The location was out of the fray of Downtown Newport, but the directions were a little hard to understand. I wasn’t quite sure where the driveway was for the cottage when I first arrived in the dark of night, but I found it with a little guesswork. Wireless and tv worked well. Lori was an excellent communicator and a gracious host. She welcomed me with a nice gift and there was an excellent book with instructions and information right in the table upon entering the cottage. I wanted for nothing while I was there and would definitely return on another trip to the Newport/Jamestown area.

Cozy Cottage in Middletown

We stayed for a week at Lori's cottage, which sits bordering a bird sanctuary. The cottage is exactly as described, and Lori, our host, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She provided suggestions for the local area, greeted us with cut flowers, and was very responsive to any questions. She was the perfect host. The house is a cozy 2-bedroom cottage with comfy beds and lovely linens. Light and airy bedrooms made for a good night's sleep, and waking up to the birds singing was a treat. It has a small bathroom with a good shower and a well-equipped kitchen. We cooked most nights, and the very modern stove made it an easy task. Everything was provided, just like in a home kitchen. The outdoor shower is a must-try! The property is only a short 10-minute drive from the downtown area, and it was so nice being in the country. The silence and the clean air were rejuvenating. We did lots of sightseeing around the area during the day, but our favorite moments were having coffee on the porch for the dawn chorus in the morning and coming home at the end of the day to enjoy the property at sunset with evening drinks and nibbles on the porch. It was hard to drive away at the end of our stay! I can highly recommend the cottage. It was such a great place to wind down and slow life for a minute. Lori was a superb host, and we can't wait to come back again.

My wife and I stayed at this quaint, immaculately clean and beautifully appointed cottage for 6 days. We were able to drive a short distance into Newport for shopping and dining, in addition to having our choice of three beaches within a few miles of the cottage. I cannot say enough about the our stay in Middletown, in large part accentuated by staying at this cottage. We will return. Robert Bonvento

Beautiful, charming hidden gem

This was our last stop on a 2 week New England road trip & although it’s hard to choose a favorite spot, I think it’s safe to say we saved the best for last. This cottage exceeded my expectations from the start. It is absolutely adorable, comfortable & has everything you could want including a great AC system. We were greeted with some sweet surprises & a handwritten note from the owner. The location was so quiet yet close enough to everything. It was such a nice spot to come home to after a day of exploring. We enjoyed watching movies on the couch at night & relaxing on the outdoor couches. The owner was so kind & easy to communicate with. I definitely hope to come back to this beautiful cottage again someday.

Great spot!

We had a lovely stay at Lori's cottage. It is tucked away for the utmost privacy, but close to the beaches and Sweet Berry Farm. Loved sitting on the porch and looking at the garden and using the outdoor shower! Would definitely recommend!

Great, cozy place near everything

This little beach cabin is a great find. Ample room for my wife and I with our toddler, equipped with everything you need, and really thoughtful touches throughout. We loved playing in the yard, we made s'mores, and enjoyed the quiet of being by the conservation area while still just minutes away from bustling Newport. We hope to be back here again!

Lovely Stay

Peaceful and well kept cottage. Beautiful backyard with relaxing Gas fire and wildlife all around. Close to beaches, away from the crowds, and short drive to Cliff Walk and downtown. Small welcoming touches from the host were very much appreciated :-) Would stay here again and hope to do so!

Great family trip!

We had a very easy check in and lovely stay. The cottage was the perfect size and very clean and well kept. We loved the fire pit and making s’mores. The tv was easy to hook up to and the skylights were great. Kitchen was fully loaded and the towels were plentiful and really nice quality. The parking was a little tight to turn around each time we pulled in. Check out I was expecting to have to do more, but it was nice to just leave the key. I didn’t see any other instructions for checkout in the app, and Lori had messaged us that morning. We found the blankets later in the trip in the living room in the table storage which we didn’t need. The beds were firm mattresses which were fine we just aren’t firm mattress people haha. We visited for a wedding for our best friends at the Wyndham and the location of this property was PERFECT. We enjoyed the bird sanctuary too. The AC’s in three locations kept the whole house cool and comfortable during some very hot/humid days. Thanks again Lori for sharing this property with us!
