Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay - All Inclusive

"The room was spotless, and oh my God — the staff was absolutely fanfabulous! Everyone was incredibly friendly, and I was genuinely impressed by the youths working there. Their English was impeccable, and their vocabulary was surprisingly vast and polished. The bartenders were excellent, warm, and welcoming, which really added to the overall experience. The food was good, although I do wish there had been a bit more variety, especially at lunchtime, as eating the same dishes every day became a little monotonous. That being said, the kindness and professionalism of the employees completely made up for it. Their hospitality was outstanding, and for that reason alone, I would still happily rate this place a 10/10. Shoutout to the entertainers Crazy Legs, Lady T and DJ. Spicy D you will forever be in my thoughts. You were too kind to us. "

"This is an older resort but it’s authentic to Jamaica. The staff were amazing!!! If you want to feel the relaxed feeling of being home, this is definitely the place to be. The food was delicious and the drinks were very good. The beach was tiny but nice. There’s a larger beautiful beach for people who want something bigger. The large pool was great and the water slide was really fun. We loved it that the resort was small. We will definitely be returning!! One love!!"

"My room had an ocean view and was clean, well appointed, and aesthetically relaxing. The staff could not have been friendlier and more generous with their time and resources to make sure I had the exact experience I wanted. I love that this is a Jamaican-owned resort, and the property was in amazing shape. It is a beautiful location. I got a wonderful massage at the spa, which was a lovely and extensive space. The weekends are more activity-heavy (live music or karaoke at night, jazz brunch on Sunday), and the weekdays were quiet and chill. Overall a 10/10 experience and I will definitely go back when I return to Jamaica!"
Little Savoy Guest House

"Little Savoy in Runaway Bay, St. Ann was a major disappointment. The property appears poorly maintained and in serious need of renovation. The hot water was unreliable, the toilet did not flush properly, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the sheets were old and worn. Cleanliness was also a major issue, with roaches in the bathroom, dirt under the sink and in the closet, and even dog feces near the patio/dining area. Check-in was frustrating, as I had to wait outside in the rain for quite some time before being let in. The only positive part of my stay was the massage service, which was very good. Runaway Bay is a beautiful area, but this property needs to close temporarily, clean thoroughly, renovate, and improve guest service. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again."
