"Nice overnight stay with my partner. Room spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. A little soft for my liking but I did sleep well. Was very thankful for the fan and I’m used to sleeping with one at home. Delicious food…the steak and ale pie was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed the cooked breakfast before the long drive home. Would definitely recommend the Captain cook Inn and we would be more than happy to stay again. "

"Absolutely amazing stay. The hotel was beautiful, and very accommodating. We stayed in room 6 in the courtyard, and it was one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in, truly beautiful. Really cosy and romantic. We had our dog with us as well, they left a dog bowl and some treats in the room for him which was a lovely addition. Food in restaurant for breakfast and dinner was lovely too. Will definitely be back! "

"Brilliant place for a short stay, we stayed 1 night and it was lovely the room was very clean and tidy the bed was comfortable there are no draws for clothes but for a short stay it didnt matter. Breakfast was included there was a selection of cereal, toast and cooked breakfast to order which was very nice. Fresh juice and tea and coffee only downside you had to pay extra for a latte but not a big deal. Price was perfect as well. The village itself is beautiful so peaceful and quiet. Will be...
