"Absolutely perfect destination for 2 couples celebrating anniversaries! Amenities exceeded our expectations, as did the host who gave us lots of info on the area to make our trip fun. Location is walkable to Nisswa on a beautiful state trail, pontoon cruise was peaceful and the sauna was a warm welcome on a chilly day. Quality furnishings and comfy beds make this place a special treat and that’s exactly what we want from a vacation. Could not have asked for more. Thanks so very much!"

"Perfect location for cyclists! The Paul Bunyan State Trail is just a 5 minute ride from the house on a quiet dirt road and heads north to Pequot Lakes and south to Nisswa, each 3-4 miles away on a smooth and level paved trail. Both are charming towns to explore: coffee, pizza, ice cream, books. Head to Crosby to get on the Cuyuna Lakes bike trail, which combines a gorgeous paved path by lakes with single track. The house was perfect for a couple's getaway: spotless, cozy, and cleverly laid out. Compact but felt spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed, shower was clean and hot, bed was comfy, and there's a gas fireplace in front of two recliners in the living room. Front porch has a gas grill with table and chairs. Catch the sunset over the lake in the Adirondack chairs at the end of the dock. Good places to walk our dog and very quiet. Great communication with owners, who have thought of everything you might need. You will not be disappointed."
