My wife and I stayed at the Gran Melia recently for our wedding anniversary. We were very impressed with the service we recieved. In particular, Joyce was very helpful in answering our questions, helping us find a bus, etc. We would certainly stay here again. One small thing that could be improved, was that although we were upgraded to the "Red Level" (which I recommend!), we didn't know that some of the Red Level benefits weren't available to those who received a free upgrade (such as the free...

Very luxurious and well kept hotel. Room was spacious and luxurious. I wanted to give a perfect score, but some staff at the reception was rude, so I give 9 out of 10.

Great hotel in a great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. There is plenty to see and do in and around the hotel. The airport is about an hour away. We took a taxi to the hotel at 150RMB. The hotel have a transfer service for 200RMB, take this option as you get a big clean saloon car instead of the small dirty taxi. My only disappointment about the hotel was the executive lounge. Food and drinks come out at 6pm and are promptly locked away at 8pm. A tad stingy in my books.

The daily housekeeping always keep the room 10/10 so clean and the towel change so well , the Asian fine dining restaurant they have was superb 👍 . The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. They were patient and would take the time to interpret our needs. Always obliging. This hotel has the best staff we have encountered in quite a long time. The room was spacious, comfortable and had all the necessary equipment. The buffet was breakfast was fantastic, a mix of western and Asian flavors. We left early in the morning and the staff made a breakfast pack and some coffee to take with us.
