"We booked the reservation on VRBO as we have done in so many instances, and always paid VRBO directly, who in turns, compensates the property owner.Someone texted me on WhatsApp 1-2 days before the trip saying they were the owner & we needed to pay them in addition to what we already paid VRBO. I have never seen a request and my biggest concern was that this was fraud, , so we would NOT provide our credit card.The entire supplemental request felt very peculiar to us, and again, we have NEVER...
