"From the four hotels we stayed during our short trip to NZ, this provided us by far with the best experience. Proximity to the Mt Hutt ski area was key, but the best part was the attention and assistance provided numerous times for different reasons - nothing was too much trouble. The food from the restaurant was also superb - delicious, generous, and well presented. Staff was always smiling, pleasant, and ready to assist wherever possible - so helpful especially when travelling with children. Do yourself a favour and stay at the Methven Resort if you are in the area. We will definitely be back."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house. Fantastic location, really warm, and was nicer than the photos I thought. The short walk to the pubs/shops, the comfortable lounge furniture and the large garage with automatic opener were appreciated. A couple of suggestions for the otherwise really well stocked house would be some kitchen scissors and an HDMI cable for the TV!"

"The staff were very friendly & replied promptly when I asked to extend stay. The price was reasonable. The kitchen was well equiped. Especially liked the fire place in the kitchen. Everything was clean from our room to the kitchen. I would prefer a lighter duvet though my daughter liked the weighted duvet - so that's personal preference. The only concern was being able to hear people in the next room. I could hear snoring when I used the bathroom but at least couldn't hear this when we shut the bathroom door. Though in the morning it was quite noisy. Didn't really bother me as we were getting up anyway."
