"The checking in was frustrating we arrive at one o’clock now one in office so came back at 2 o’clock now one there so phoned told she won’t be far. Half an hour later 4 customer waiting the lady finally arrived. Not a good look. There was 2 of us stay for 3 nights. Only one lot of toiletries in the bathroom and on the second day asked for more toilet paper. Sorry you have to pay for more. These could have been a small cost to the Resort for people who are stay more than one night. Also the rooms weren’t serviced while we stayed. "

"Rooms were clean and tidy with comfortable beds. Owners were very friendly and a pleasure to talk to with great advice when holidaying in Methven."

"Entire lodge was spotless and everything was there we needed. Only issue was the noise. And probably this was due to other guests not being considerate. Our bedroom was below TV room. Noise from TV. People dropping things and talking was easily heard. The worse thing was banging doors when guest went in and out. One guest put an object in door entrance to keep door from closing and chatted on mobile ph. It was very noisy when guests opened or closed bedroom doors and lodge entrance doors. Maybe a notice to close doors quietly with handles might help. The noise was the only thing that was not right. Receptionist very welcoming on arrival."

"Very spacious with all the amenities we required for our group although a BBQ would have been added value, the location is ideal and not far from the town centre. Listing price could be more clearer on additional people costs as listing price reflects 6 people even though it’s advertised to sleep up to 16, it is easy to miss this.Communication is great, very understanding & helpful with the owners & team.Overall and enjoyable stay thank you"
