"This hidden little gem is a motel, yes a motel. Old school real keys and everything. The property has a bar and grill on it making breakfast and dinner very convenient. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms had wood tile floors, marble sink, and double beds. No closet, but not an issue. It was so quiet as well and the blinds blacken the room where you can actually sleep in a little. I will definitely be coming back."

"This was our second time to stay here and it is becoming a favorite place to getaway for peace and relaxation. The location on the river is great for kayaking and fishing. The area is abundant with wildlife, too. We saw deer by the river as we kayaked in the evenings. We love that two kayaks are available at the cabin to use. We brought all of our food so we didn’t have to leave the cabin. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking and grilling. The fire pit in the evenings was a plus, especially since firewood is provided, as well as everything you need to make smores. Washer/dryer in the cabin was great since we stayed 5 days. Contact with the management company is so easy. Dawnisa will text you back immediately. This is probably the best management company with which I have dealt. Will be back many more times!"

"We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was comfortable and nicely appointed. However, I inadvertently left my newly purchased AirPods on the bed. I can see that they are still there via Find My. It is disappointing that the property manager has not helped me successfully retrieve them. I have offered to pay shipping costs, etc. While I acknowledge the owner has no obligation to return them, it would demonstrate good customer service to assist by returning them. The property manager is no longer responding, so I will consider this a loss. "
