Metairie Cemetery Tours and Activities

The staff was amazing. Go see Kate at May Baileys. She is a beautiful kind soul and a helluva bartender. It is an excellent location. There were 2 days of heavy rain. Our room, 320 had a bad leak, probably from the window. They were quick to move us to another room. I have to say the headboard in 320 was gross. It is suade and stained by many heads resting on it. The cottage house was amazing. I would stay again but definitely in the carriage house, not the 3 story.

This is an excellent boutique hotel on St. Charles Avenue with on-site self parking and easy access to the streetcar to move about if you don't feel like walking (the streetcar runs down the center of St. Charles). The front desk staff was friendly (Geoffrey was extremely helpful and attentive.) My only complaint is that the towels in the room seemed a bit worn and not fitting for a higher quality hotel. This is an easy fix -- if they order some new towels. There are many restaurants lining St. Charles Avenue, and if you wanna mix it up with the locals after hours, there's a dive bar called Igor's just a few doors down from the hotel. On my last night, I grabbed some cheap deli Brother's Fried Chicken from the convenience store on the corner and ate it while drinking a beer sitting outside Igor's. The DJ was playing old school R&B, and I sat there and chilled until I got sleepy, then took the few steps to the hotel and crashed. All in all this is a good quiet hotel on an interesting street. I'll stay here again.
