These are quiet and comfortable family-owned rooms set in Piano di Sorrento (about 4 km from the centre of Sorrento). It is a 6-minute walk from Piano train station.
It has a large swimming pool set in a large garden with good parking. There is a small number of staff, so you will have to plan your needs.

"Majestic Palace Hotel was a fantastic experience for my wife and I for our stay in Sorrento. Set in a residential area, the hotel is clean and well kept. The lobby is spacious, with a Michelin rated restaurant within, plus a bar that opens up to the pool, and a rooftop bar that overlooks the city and coast of Sorrento. It is spectacular at night, and they make great drinks.
Our room was large with plenty of room for us to move around. The bathroom was nice and not crowded space. We had a balcony with a few seats to sit outside and overlook the pool.
Breakfast was served in a large room, and there was plenty of food to choose from. Something for everyone whether you like hot or cold items. There were also a few machines serving many options of your favorite coffee and hot drinks.
The staff were friendly and efficient at check-in. And every time we walked by, they always said hello and were smiling. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here."
"We stayed at Vanvitelli Palace B&B for 4 nights. Antonino met us upon check-in and gave us a walk thru. The room was quite comfortable and had excellent Air Conditioning. This was very important after long days in the sun. Lucia set out breakfast every morning with fresh croissants, sandwich items, muffins, juice and fresh coffee/espresso. We chose Meta as the price point was much more reasonable than Sorrento. We really enjoyed our stay. The train station is a 5 minute walk. Sorrento is a 6 min train ride (1.5 Euro). This was a great hub for our visit to the coast. The building has a lot of character and you can tell that the host has spent time updating the rooms so they have fresh paint, etc. "
"We stayed at this resort for two nights and it was exactly what we needed in the middle of a busy trip. We booked one of their smart rooms and while a little small, they were clean, well-furnished, and the perfect size for two people.
The grounds were nicely maintained, the views of Sorrento from the resort's garden were incredible, especially at night, and the pool was well-operated. We didn't get a chance to try the hotel's lunch or dinner service, but the breakfast was great and had a decent selection of offerings.
Overall, an incredible value and we look forward to staying here again on our next trip to the area! "
"The staff at the hotel were friendly and very accommodating. We loved the variety of restaurant options and the view at breakfast looking over the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius was stunning! We found it easy to get into Sorrento via train (a 10 minute walk, followed by a 10 minute journey) and we would not hesitate to come again. A true 5 star experience!"
"Simply a very beautiful building with a uniquely beautiful view of mountain and sea. I watched a lunar eclipse from my window. The gardens were replete with many private spaces for conversation and rest. The mattress was quite firm--not my favorite for a good night's sleep. Staff was welcoming and warm. There was a considerable noise at night from other hotels in the area, I think. "
"We had a lovely stay at Torre Barbara. We loved the views, our spacious room, the terrace with the restaurant and the outdoor pool. But more than anything the service and the attention from all the members of staff - friendly, corteous and caring! All of that more than outweighs a little bit noisy road just near the hotel and the challenges of parking and driving on the Sorrento peninsula :)"
