"This charming castle is truly a gem among Umbrian fields. Set on a hill, it's a very well-maintained and clean hotel, with a pool overlooking the nearby valley. The staff was amazing, and especially Daniela at the reception desk who made us feel like at home. "5 of us rented Gian’s beautiful villa for a week. It was the best girls trip ever. We all had our own space…but mostly found ourselves gathering in the main kitchen or outside to view the amazing Sunset. We had several day trips planned..and cut out a couple just so we could spend more time living il dolce far niente. We took advantage of the private chef who created a farewell dinner experience for us that we will never forget!!! Gian was super attentive and helpful and even joined us for a potluck we hosted for our expat friends. If you’re looking for a perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of The Green Heart of Italy…this is the spot!"

"Beautiful hotel set in bucolic hill top location with spectacular views. The staff were welcoming , friendly and efficient. You can judge hotel service by the speed issues are addressed. We had a few minor issues : a safe without a key, a leak from the air conditioning unit , dud batteries in the telly remote and needed an extra pillow . Within minutes ,new safe ,new batteries ,extra pillow and air conditioning unit serviced immediately. Beautiful dining room with panoramic vistas including spectacular sunsets over the mountains. Dinner and service were excellent and breakfast extremely good. Coffee dispensed from machine was ok , not the best. Machines seem ubiquitous these days."

The property is spotlessly clean and making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the town. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a fantastic selection of delicious options to start your morning. Best of all, everyone on the staff was remarkably friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our entire visit."

"The Hotel is Okay, definitely no worth of the name GRAND Hotel. There is nothing Grand about it. It is a decent place for a short stay. Very small rooms with Balcony. I will show you a picture or what they consider a balcony. Nice outside pool. The Staff was very nice. If you go to the Restaurant do not expect a traditional Italian food but tiny portions of something they have to explain in order for you to know what you are eating. No worth the money. Much better food just outside a 3-5 minutes walking."
