"We had a wonderful time at this property! Yes, this location is really off the beaten path, but that was one of the reasons why we chose to stay here. We spent a lot of time in the pool and the outdoor area- was definitely worth the extra money to heat the pool. The kitchen was well stocked with the items that we needed to prepare meals and make amazing morning coffee! It was so peaceful to sit by the pool in the morning with a cup of coffee and in the evening with a glass of wine. Side note- sunsets are amazing! Phil was a great host- he stayed in contact with us and was very quick to respond to questions that we had. Thanks a bunch!"

"Room cleanliness was ok. However, entering the back door at night was atrocious. Huge moths and grasshoppers swarmed you. They got in your face and on your clothing as you tried to enter the door. They entered and were in the hallway and even in the bathroom. Disgusting! Also the entry door never was locked so zero security and you are located at a truck stop on the freeway close to the border. No shampoo or conditioner. Soap provided manufactured in Malaysia. No breakfast. But other than that the stay was perfect."
