Incredible stay at the most beautiful villa!
Upon arrival you cant help but be taken a back by how stunning this villa is, and even by our last day I was still in awe by its beauty. Its been renovated to a high standard and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We was a group of 4 adults, 2 couples. We opted to rent both houses which provided enough privacy for each of us. There are some wonderful restaurants within throwing distance if you didnt want to cook. You will need a car for your stay as there is not a supermarket within walking distance, but its only a 5-10 minute drive away. One of my favourite memories of our holiday was sitting on the super large terrace to watch the sunset, it has perfect views going down to the coast, and also across the mountains. The hosts have thought of everything and were fantastic at communicating on the run up to our holiday. 100% i will be returning! Thank you Pambos and Antonia x

Wonderful clean and peaceful property
We all thought the property was gorgeous to look at and was in an incredibly quiet and peaceful location even though there were a few restaurants within a few minutes' walk and other houses around. Just a few minutes outside of Pafos/Paphos. House was clean and had all necessary items for use of house and pool (inc rings, sunloungers, floats). Pool was larger than it looked in photos and depths were 1.2 to 1.7m and was always crystal clear and lovely. The house was not so easy to find due to some recent road changes not reflected in Google. The hosts were helpful and quick to respond to msgs and left some basic food items for us on arrival. No parking with the property but we never had problems parking in some spaces about 20m away. Overall a great stay and fully happy that we got what we had wanted and booked.

Absolutely incredible
I can't recommend this property enough. It is about a 15-20 drive outside of Paphos in a small village which makes it incredibly quiet and relaxing. Everything you need is supplied and the villa is incredibly private. The owner was kind enough to leave us some basics in the fridge so we didn't have to go shopping straight away which was great. If you want to eat out, it is next to several really nice restaurants which are all in walking distance. It was so good, we are hoping to return next year with a couple of friends.

A lovely villa in a very quite area
Very clean , pool area spotless , lovely hosts , we really enjoyed our stay at the villa . We were 2 couples and rented both the house and the bungalow gave us the privacy but then to meet up around the pool was great

Wonderful 14 days
Wow what a wonderful place to stay. A bit further out from papfos than we are used to but it was well worth the drive. We used both houses and we had so much space. With a large courtyard you get a really private space with a great sized pool. The owner, Pambos came and found us when we got lost arriving in the dark and had provided food, water, wine and beer which was very welcome after a long flight. Parking was on the street which can be busy with customers for the 2 restaurants nearby but we were always able to park. We had an amazing holiday and are all sad to be back home. The only thing that could have made my holiday any better would have been a dishwasher. With 7 of us i washd up a lot :0). Can't recommend this place enough. We will be back.

Beautiful villa
Really lovely villa, owner was waiting for us on arrival, when you walk through the gate, pool area fantastic. The owner Pambos went through everything at check in, some groceries left to start us off and a bottle of wine, which was nice, fully equipped kitchen. We stayed in the 3 bedroomed all on one level villa with bathroom and another shower room in the utility room, by the pool. Really nice layout and was ideal for my 84 year old Dad. Pool area was excellent and so well maintained. Parking is in the Street next to The magic garden restaurant, always get a space, literally a stones throw from villa. If looking for directions put The magic garden in sat nav, 20 mins from Phaphos harbour. The harbour and Phaphos old town lovely, had some nice meals also Porto Latchi in Latchi is a must, sunset from restsurant fab, about 40 min drive. A car is a must as the buses from the village are few and far between. Air conditioning is payable on site to the owner , it was a must for us,so factor this in. Overall would certainly recommend this villa, beautiful and owners lovely, very helpful and fresh fruit brought to us. Hope to see you again. X

Excellent Winter Break
We really enjoyed staying in Andigonis house. Antonia and Pambos were both really helpful as we had to alter our dates. Property was excellent with a lovely log fire waiting for us on arrival. This was required every night as it got quite chilly, but we were blessed with excellent weather for the week, 22-24 degrees. Fantastic location for easy access into Paphos, Troudos mountains and the surrounding coast. Car is essential, preferably a small car as a lot of narrow streets. Would highly recommend and will stay again when we go to Cyprus next.

Fantastic Villa
This villa is absolutely gorgeous. The hosts Antonia and Pambos went over the top to accommodate us including some nice snacks when we arrived after a long morning of travel. It’s in a very quiet and peaceful location with great restaurants just steps out the door. It has a beautiful courtyard and pool and the pictures absolutely reflect the reality of the place. The views and sunsets from just outside the gate topped it all off. I highly recommend this place for your vacation!

Paphos trip
This property is beautifully renovated in a traditional style so it feels very special to stay in. The pool is a great size and the house has everything you need. The location is a quiet town and very close to the city. It makes an excellent base to explore Paphos, although you needed the hire car. The area is interesting and we were able to visit beaches, water park, museums and archaeological sights and tavernas. Something for everyone. It was also really nice to relax at the house by the pool. The hosts were so kind and welcoming and had bought some food which was nice as we arrived very late.

Tremendous. Antigonis House, perfection.
Leaving Paphos airport we drove for just under half an hour and arrived at Mesa Chorio and Antigonis House. Pambos was there to greet us and to show us around the property. Thank you Pambos, very much appreciated all you did for us. As in the description the property has two different buildings. Just what we wanted. There were ourselves, Nana and Grandad then our Daughter her husband and two daughters. Just made for each other. The communal courtyard allowed us to mix, dine, drink and relax together. The swimming pool was a welcome relief to the warmth of the day and such fun for the children. Plenty of sunbeds, shady areas for those who like them, beautiful Olive tree and other plants and features gave the house a relaxed and natural character. Inside both properties are well appointed. Seating for inside dining, sofas for relaxing, tasteful furnishings and a sun terrace with amazing views. Both houses and outside area were very clean and we'll tended. Interaction with Pambos was excellent. Once for a minor problem that was sorted efficiently and once again when finding a transfer for our daughter and family who came over for the second week. Thank you very much Pambos, much appreciated. Mesa Chorio is a lovely quite village uphill from Paphos so good views, breeze so relaxing. It has a mini market about 200 yards from the property with a decent selection of everyday needs. Three restaurants/tabernas also within 150 meters. This was our first time to Cyprus. We prefer quiet relaxing holidays where you can interact with the local community. Both the village and Antigonis House were perfection. Thank you Cyprus and a big thank you to Antonia and Pambos for the use of their property. I wish you all the very best and hope to see you again.

We drove from Paphos airport after a very fraught journey from Gatwick and when we arrived in Mesa Chorio it was dark so Pambos kindly came and found us. He took us to the house, gave us a tour and had booked a table at the local Loukas taverna for dinner. Good choice :) - 25 euros each including 2 bottles wine! The property itself was beautifully renovated - has been in the family for many years and had the original wine-treading bath, olive press and bread oven. The pool is perfect for a dip - we even braved it in February! the village itself is lovely with 3 restaurants and a supermarket and amazing views over Paphos. I can imagine summer sunsets are stunning!. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a fireplace (the only source of heating in winter) and once we managed to get it going, it was lovely. Antonia and Pambos left us a fantastic hamper with cold meats, eggs, cereal, water, tea, coffee, milk, bread and fruit so we had breakfast for the next few days. The outside space is beautiful and very restful and we had breakfast outside each day. I would love to return in warmer months and would definitely stay here again. Thank you both for a lovely stay

Our stay in Mesa Chorio was magical. The host was really nice and everything we needed was for us to use. The location of the place is in a quite neighbourhood away from tourist, a local place. We loved the private pool and having the whole place to ourselves, it made us feel special and very relaxed. P.s Close by there is a tavern, who serves delicious and traditional Cyprus food, it's worth trying ;) If back in Cyprus we will for sure be booking this place again, if available :)

Spacious house without air-conditioning
Very spacious house, but in a somewhat remote area, and nowhere to walk. We happened to be there during construction so it was quite noisy starting at 7 am. Surprised to find out upon arrival that the air-conditioning was not included in the price that we paid for, and had to pay extra even though it was listed under amenities.

Perfect place for family holiday or romantic getaway
Antonia and Pambos are extremly welcoming hosts that do not hesitate to go the extra mile. The property is wounderful and you feel the love the owners put in here. It ist also the perfect base to explore Cyprus. The Tavern and the Magic Garden only a few metres away from the property are perfect places to have really nice dinner. We enjoyed our time here very much and will definetely come back.

lovely traditional villa
This is a lovely traditional villa full of old cyprus charm. The outdoor area was the most important feature for us. It has a lovely outdoor area with a reasonable sized pool. There are comfortable sun loungers and a comfortable set of outdoor chair/ sofa with cushions and table and chairs. There is plenty of shade; a shaded outdoor terrace area with dining table and chairs outside the kitchen, and a nook area next to the pool with the comfortable outdoor furniture. There is also shade from an olive tree during the mid day sun. The property is in a residential area, but isn't overlooked so your outside area is fairly private. Within 50 metres of the villa are two lovely local tavernas which had the best food that we ate in cyprus and a great atmosphere. Its a nice quiet village but there isn't much else to walk to. Its about a 15 - 20 minute easy drive into Pafos The host Pambos was so nice. He met us at the villa to show us where to park (The parking is on the street, but there isn't any shortage of parking close to the villa) and show us around the villa/ give us any advice which was great compared to other rental we have stayed at where you are left guessing how things work. He also left us a welcome pack of food so we didn't have to go straight to the supermarket.

A quiet Oasis in Mesa Chorio
Our vacation started with Pambos (landlord) coming to greet us at the hotel and escorted us back up to the villa. Once walking through the gate you realize pictures on internet don't do the justice - the backyard is like a tranquil oasis in the village. Pambos showed us everything and how it works, and we even got a welcome hamper gift which was a really nice touch. Anything we needed, they replied right away. We even had a flat tire and Pambos took us personally to the local mechanic and we got it fixed right away. We strongly recommend this place to anybody looking for a relaxing family holiday, only 10 mins drive from the city centre.

We had a lovely relaxing holiday, it was great to come back from the busy coast & totally relax. Both houses are beautifully furnished throughout, comfortable & spotlessly clean. The outside area is a delight, spacious & so well maintained. It looks equally beautiful at night with it's perfect lighting. Antonia & Pambos are really helpful & friendly without being intrusive. Lucas taverna very welcoming & generally the people in Mesa Chorio very friendly, we got invited into someone's garden to pick oranges. For vegetarians we found the Windmill & Mother's taverna in Paphos had a number excellent choices & more variety.

Loved the traditional storehouse, so pleasing, a taste of the real Cyprus.
We booked both houses for a party of 6 adults. There was loads of room and plenty of showering/toilet facilities. Overall the unit had everything you could possibly need for your holiday. The courtyard was a sun trap with the sun shining in first thing in the mornings which made breakfasting outside a pleasure even in early March. Antonia and Pablos were great hosts, on arrival we had fresh fruit and cold meats, cheese, orange juice, cereals and tea and coffee, everything we needed for breakfast. The restaurant next door was great, inexpensive , not noisy at all. The village itself is extremely quiet. If you wish to explore a car is essential. The nights were cold in March so so kindling and some wood for the fire on the first night would have been appreciated as the shops were closed. We have no hesitation in recommending this property, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Beautiful and clean property; attentive hosts
The property is squeaky clean and very pretty -- well and tastefully furnished. The private courtyard with a pool is a pleasure to spend time in and well-sheltered from the neighbourhood. The hosts promptly reacted to our questions and were on hand when we needed them (which was only when we wanted to turn the heaters on the first evening). There are two tavernas -- one literally across the street, the other about 50 meters from the house. Both offer great fare and good value for money. We were very happy and enjoyed our time thoroughly. The only consideration is that a car is necessary to get around -- unless you're content to stay at the house all the time (which would actually be cool, too).

What a Fantastic Property (wow!)
Just returned home from a fantastic week at the House of Antigoni. Antonia and Pambos responded quickly to our initial enquiries and provided all of the information that we required. Booking was simple and straight forward. Prior to departing we established contact via telephone and Pambos met us following collecting our hire car so we were able to follow him to the property even though it was 11pm. Then wow! as we walked through the courtyard gates our expectations were exceeded. The photographs do not do the property justice. Pambos showed us around and ensured we knew everything we needed to for our stay. The property has been restored to a very high traditional standard and you can tell by the pride in his explanation that Pambos is very proud of his property. All facilities available in the house fully met our needs for the week and there was a good standard welcome pack waiting for us, which was excellent due to the time of our arrival (in the rental price). We had one query on day 1 and Pambos came out to the property within the hour to provide what we asked. Internet was very good. There are two restaurants close to the property with excellent food at a very good price. Far cheaper than expected for the quality of food and service. Due to our late flights Antonia and Pambos agreed to a late departure, which was greatly appreciated and allowed us to make full use of our last day. Excellent location if you want to experience living in a Cypriot Village away from the crowds, yet close enough to access all tourist areas within a short drive.

Lovely Place To Stay
We loved staying in this house, the pool and outside area is fantastic. Both Antonia and Pambos were very friendly and helpful, the communication from beginning to end was excellent. The only thing that I would recommend is perhaps a few more pots and pans, especially for a family of 5 but apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. We only tried the Secret Garden restaurant and would recommend for sure, the food is delicious, the owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the other restaurant in the village but it looked good and was busy every evening. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Where shall I start... walking through the gate to the house it just took our breath away. The courtyard was amazing and very private. The pool was fantastic, laying on a lilo in the sun was wonderful and great to cool off in the July heat. It had a wonderful dining area where we sat every night and had a BBQ. There was loads of space for sun beds and shady spots if you wanted to be out of the direct sun. You just couldn’t fault it at all. We were in the house that was all on one level, 2 bedrooms with double beds and one with a single. One of the beds was a four poster that was a bit squeaky. All with wardrobes but limited hangers so take a few with you. The bathroom was lovely, just the shower head that needed changing really. We bought a cheap one to put on and then the shower was fantastic with fab pressure. The kitchen was good and equipped, but I was disappointed that it didn’t have a stock of herbs etc like pepper and salt, although we had a generous welcome package left which was appreciated. All the sockets were English so no need for adapters which was good. We had a well deserved relaxing 3 weeks here and never heard a sound, the area is so quiet you can’t help but relax. The only thing we didn’t expect was to pay for air conditioning as it didn’t say anything in the advert and we expected it to be in the price as it normally is. We had 3 air conditioning units and paid €190 for 3 weeks, which wasn’t too bad as they were on a lot but the advert should say that you have to pay locally for this service. There is a restaurant straight out of the gate and a tavern a few steps away, we didn’t go in either but the review for the tavern are good. We didn’t get any noise from either place. Such a wonderful property in a very relaxing spot, you won’t be disappointed and I hope we will be able to return someday. Thank you Antonia & Pambos.

Great house, great holiday!
We spent one week at the end of June in the house of Antonia and Pambos. We loved it very-very much! We felt like home, every day when we returned to the house was a good feeling. Spacious, very well equipped and maintained, and a really lovely pool. The house is very characteristic which added a special taste to our stay. Quiet, in a tranquil cypriot village. Thank you very much to gave us the opportunity to stay in this beautiful house, we will be back!

Stylish private stone house for a relaxing holiday
Our stay in Mesa Chorio at Antonia & Pambos's property was one of the best accommodations we have had over the years. The house is amazing and was exactly what we expected: a high quality, clean and well-maintained property. Antonia and Pambos were very responsive and courteous hosts. Mesa Chorio village is very quiet but also full of life, perfect for a relaxing holiday. Within a 20m range there are 2 excellent restaurants. I would highly recommend Lucas Tavern. The food is fantastic and Lucas & the staff are lovely and friendly. This is one of the best places to go for Meze and traditional food in Paphos area. Magic Garden restaurant is also great. Thanks for an unforgettable accommodation.

Tolles Haus!
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt von vorn herein sehr genossen. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft: Ruhig und doch zentral, toller Blick über Pafos und immer ein wenig kühler als in der Stadt. Die Häuser boten für unsere Familie viel Platz und der Innenhof ist ein Traum. Die Lage ist auch ideal für viele Ausflüge in die Umgebung und sogar ein sehr schöner Golfplatz ist schnell zu erreichen.

Wir würden herzlich empfangen von Gastgeber Pambos, der den Kühlschrank reichhaltig für uns gefüllt hatte. Er war stets für uns erreichbar und hat sich Zeit genommen für jedes Anliegen. Das alte Anwesen wurde von ihm liebevoll restauriert und ist sehr geschmackvoll möbliert und sehr gut ausgestattet. Ein wahres Juwel ist der Innenhof, der immer ein schattiges Plätzchen bietet. Tagsüber haben wir dort auch den Pool genossen. Nach Ausflügen in die wunderschöne Umgebung durften wir unvergessliche Abende im stimmungsvoll illuminierten Hof verbringen. So etwas findet man nicht alle Tage!

Ein Ort zum wohlfühlen
Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, wir haben das Ambiente sehr genossen. Die Häuser sind wunderschön renoviert und eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung entspricht der Beschreibung. Der Ort ist Erholung pur. In der Nachbarschaft gibt es drei Lokale zur Verpflegung. Wir können einen Aufenthalt dort wärmstens empfehlen. Vielen Dank an Pambos und Antonia

Une magnifique maison qui vous accueille dans un petit village avec tavernes et supermarché. Les propriétaires sont très disponibles et accueillants ! Et l’intérieur du pays est à découvrir absolument : forêts, églises, randonnées.

Hyggelig bolig og søde værter
Det var en hyggelig bolig og rigtig søde og hjælpsomme værter. Da vi ankom var det midnat..... Pambos (værten) ventede på os og hjalp os med indtjekning. Derudover havde de købt ind til morgenmad som deres gæstfrihed, toast, pålæg, smør, mælk osv. Vi var meget glade for vores ophold og vil klart booke stedet igen.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful, traditional villa. Pambos gave us a tour in the house and the courtyard and explained everything to us. Everything we needed was there including a washing machine, towels for the swimmingpool, comfortable sunbeds etc. On our arrival we even found milk, cheese, water, fresh fruit etc. in the kitchen. All this made that we felt very welcome. The house was also spotlessly clean when we arrived. A nice restaurant with a beautiful garden is only a few steps away form the house as well as a taverna. Unfortunately the last one was closed during our stay. Because the house is a traditional house it's quite dark inside but for us this was no problem as the weather was perfect and we were outside all the time. If you want to have the advantage of a big city nearby but like to stay in a beautiful traditional house in a quiet and peaceful village, we certainly recommend this villa.

Merveilleux séjour. Gîte très bien équipé,dans un endroit très calme. Idéalement situé pour visiter Chypre.Deux supers restaurants tout à côté. Frigo rempli à notre arrivée par nos charmants hôtes.Tout était parfait ! Nous recommandons chaleureusement cet endroit. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil

Fantastisch!
Prachtig gerestaureerd, ontbijt in het zonnetje, open haard in de avond (in april staat de zon te laag voor een avondzon). Vriendelijke eigenaar die ons op kwam halen in het begin van de stad, omdat het anders lastig te vinden was. Gevulde ijskast, toen het toch te koud was, was hij in 10 minuten aanwezig om de airco op warm te zetten, prima bedden, echt een aanraader. Wij waren met zn tweeën, dat was heerlijk, maar je kan er idd ook met 9 man terecht!
