"Booked this on a last minute trip to visit our granddaughter in Winona, and what a pleasant surprise once we got in. It was like a step back in time with this Lustron home. We knew nothing about the history of them so the book in the kitchen was a perfect added touch. The retro dining area was perfect, comfortable and enjoyable to have a family dinner. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the living room for the whole family. The carpet is new and very clean so I had no worries about my granddaughter crawling around. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms spacious too. There were plenty of towels, dishes, soaps and the added extras were much appreciated. Coffee bar fully stocked, water bottles in the refrigerator, ice made in freezer, and a bowl of chocolates for that late night snack. We definitely had a great stay here! The floor does get a bit chilly, but it is the middle of December so just remember your slippers. They did have some to borrow in case you forget. ;) They have definitely thought of all the little touches to make it feel like a home not just a rental. "
