"Serge was a great host and assisted us throughout. Thought accommodation was nearly new and surprised to hear it had been converted nearly 10 years! The pool was readily available….even in the mixed weather conditions! A slightly bigger breakfast choice would be our only -ve, but it was always fresh."

"This place was expensive, and did not include breakfast, tea & coffee making or decent bath towels. The bath towels were very small and incredibly thin, the bathrobes were grey/white which was off-putting, paint was peeling, decor bright orange and red. Not our taste at all and fairly basic. Dinner was available for 38 euro, set menu, but not to be recommended. The canard was too tough to cut but enjoyed by the resident dog. Wifi fades in and out as it pleases. "We spent 2 weeks here as a family of 4. Stunning location with truly spectacular views across countryside. Gorgeous salt water swimming pool - it must have been maintained but we never saw anyone! Extremely well equipped kitchen / has everything you need plus more. House is enormous - and well decorated. Never seen so many armoires in 1 house! Would be great for several families as lots of room. Would say not suitable for young children as windows open onto v high drop plus no fence on terrace....

"The hosts, Patrick and his wife, were great. Very friendly and helpful. The house is old, but charming. It is a rest house for pilgrims on the route to campostella, so you can converse with pilgrims during meals. Very special. "

"Beautiful hotel. Stayed here as we were attending a wedding. Very informative of the local area. Clean, tidy and beautiful rooms! We stayed in room 101- it is gorgeous with a little terraced outside. Friendly staff. Highly recommend the hotel and the area. Perfect location, lots of coffee shops near by. On the Saturday they had a food market right outside the hotel, then on the Sunday a mixed market. Friendly locals and beautiful setting! "

Lovely home in a country setting.
"The house is very distinctive. It is just off the main (but quiet) road, so easy to find. The owner's house is across from it. The view is excellent, you are not overlooked at the back of the house and you have access to the farmland. There are a number of very nice walks - the late summer skies over the ripening orchards were just beautiful. The house is well featured, with everything reasonably provided for (including a kettle and coffee machine & percolator). Aircon is provided in the living area and top floor bedroom. We brought our Firestick to watch online (being easier to do so than use the TV). The middle floor sleeps up to 4 people (double and 2 single beds), while the top floor is double. Like a lot of period french houses, the upper stairs is steep - but is well built, with a good handrail. The pool is above ground, accessed by an up-and-over ladder. While this is fine for most people, it is a bit wobbly - so it will feel unstable for those less sure on their feet. It's also felt quite cool, but was at around 25 degrees C according to the thermometer. The host, Solange, could not have been friendlier. She made a real effort to make us feel welcome and settled. Warm and personable, without being instrusive."
