Such a beautiful property and the hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with. Fantastic spot, walkable to the beach, plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. We were very pleased with both the accommodation and location. Very nicely appointed, very quiet but only a short walk to the town center. Even had kangaroos over the back fence that we watched from the deck while sipping a pre-dinner drink! Thanks, Colin, for a lovely stay.

A very nicely furnished clean and comfortable property with a kitchen that is the best one we've ever come across, as equipped with absolutely everything! We were very impressed with this property which had everything you need for a comfortable stay including a proper coffee machine! The location was great with an easy walk into town and a lovely peaceful outlook at the back. We appreciated the extra touches from the host and found the beds ans sofas to be very comfortable. We were really pleasantly surprised when we opened the front door. The layout of the property is very family friendly and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms are spacious and the decor is very coordinated and thoughtful. There are lots of lovely artworks throughout the house and the stained glass windows are a real feature. The kitchen is also thoughtfully organised with sharp knives, some basic pantry supplies, and a great strange of kitchen utensils. The fresh milk, shortbread and wine were really generous. Thank you! We loved the outdoor setting options and the views. We got to see some wonderful Aussie wildlife including a blue tongue lizard, kangaroos, kookaburras, parrots, wrens and loads of dragonflies. The location is in walking distance to shops and cafes, playing fields and a very short drive to the beach. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

quiet but central location in Merimbula

We've stayed at this house a couple of times, and very likely will stay there again in future. Perfect for a family of 4. A short stroll to town or to Spencer Park, and a longer but very nice walk to Bar Beach. The house is very clean, well furnished, and in a quiet location backing on to a bush reserve. An excellent option for a holiday in Merimbula.

Clean, spacious and close to everything

The hosts have thought of everything to create a comfortable and homely get-away. We didn't want for anything. The property is very clean, spacious and well laid out, with lots of thoughtful touches. Air conditioning, wifi, clean kitchen and BBQ, plenty of cookware and pantry supplies, privacy, peaceful green outlook, and a short walk to shops, cafes, parks etc. Nice and warm on the cool autumn nights and mornings, with the sun streaming into the living area. Good as a base for exploring or to cosy up and stay home. Definitely recommend.

This is a lovely house. The owners have taken a great deal of thought and care to ensure guests are comfortable. We loved our time here. Merimbula family getaway perfection!

Perfect getaway location for our family of 4. Everything you need is provided from cooking and pantry items to books and games. Beds were super comfortable too. Living/kitchen/deck area overlooks reserve where we enjoyed the peace and quiet while watching the local wildlife. For a property that is less than a 5 min walk to the centre of town it was very quiet and relaxing. Host, Colin, was very accommodating and thoughtful. If you want central, quiet, clean and comfortable - Look no further.

Tranquil escape

Had an awesome time . Clean and modern with quality items throughout. Coffee machine , wifi , Netflix . Kangaroos, birds, and picturesque outlook . They take care of all the smallest details. Welcomed us with Prosecco, shortbread and fresh fruit . Recommend for sure . Hope to come back soon!
