We had an excellent stay at Villa Orquidea and still had more places on our list after a week in Merida. Our hosts Griselda, Sonia & Denise were very helpful with ideas for restaurants, things to see and private drivers. There are so many good restaurants! Breakfast was delightful including home-made banana bread, though we mostly ate light.

The staffpeople are nothing short of fantastic and friendly. Breakfast is cooked from scratch and delicious each day. My room was quiet and clean. The lobby and pool area are lovely. This was the perfect place for my stay in Merida.

An exquisite quiet place close to main square and safe. If you fancy something cozy and homely then this is the place to go. I loved the high ceilings and the breakfast was good. The staff are very friendly and warm.

This hotel is just as its named. A great boutique hotel. It's in a great area in Centro Merida. Close to the Grand Plaza and the Gastronomy district. The included cook to order breakfast is more than you can expect these days and "Barbara" who brings it to you is simply delightful!

Incredible place, clean and beautiful rooms. Walking distance from everything we wanted to see. Alberto the manager is an incredible and welcoming host. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

We liked the breakfast. It was something different every morning. There was coffee, tea and snack bars available. The staff was very nice. Alberto and Brenda we’re very helpful. The room was beautiful. We had a pleasant stay there. We didn’t like that the cleaning staff always forgot to replace something like the water bottle, hand towels, facial towels, etc.,

The room was beautiful, the shower was the best I've ever used, and the air conditioning is very effective. The full, hot breakfasts were excellent. There is always a staff member available, and they are very helpful. I recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

The rooms are beautifully appointed in decor and the linens are fantastic. Modern bathroom and very clean. The pool area is very well done and having a fridge at the disposal of guests is a thoughtful touch. I will definitely return.
