The staff is lovely, I like the the convenience of Bistrola 57 being on site. I love the antiqueness of the room and the grandness of the center courtyard. It's like staying in someone's home. Any time I come to Mérida, it's my go to hotel.

The priming room was amazing with the balcony. The room was just as posted. The staff were very courteous. The restaurant in/attached to the hotel served excellent food and the staff in both spoke English. The cleaning staff was very thorough. The grounds were well kept. We would definitely stay here again.

Merida was OK, with a lot of things closed randomly. A bigger issue was our room, on a busy road and no soundproofing. It was also dated and a bit rough. This place has little charm except for the staff.

Air conditioning was broken with temperatures over 100 degrees. Baby couldn’t sleep, I had to go sleep by pool cause I couldn’t breath in the heat. Nice staff but the building and rooms need a lot of work.

Just okay

Great customer service and location but condition of the room and bathroom was very poor. Cannot control AC temperature asked for a portable fan. Shower head broken water coming out everywhere. Not much toiletries just shampoo and bar soap. No tissue paper, vanity set, no hand or face towel. No safe box, had to carry around a huge wood key chain for room key, bigger than my cross body bag Pictures very nice but not the way the room is.

A/C isn’t the best.

We went first week of Sept. weather was 90s and very humid. We weren’t able lower the temp in our room. It’s already preset, you’re only able to adjust the fan speed.

We had several inconveniences regarding our room, for one the tv was not working, phone was not working, even thou the hotel was kind of empty in terms or room occupancy, we were sent to the highest floor, prioritizing international guests.
