I stayed there only one night , good service , room was clean , during the night was perfect because is close to restaurants w out live music , and vendors like souvenirs,
Clean and beautiful hotel in central Merida, right by the main plaza and the market. It is in an old building but the staff do a great job of maintaining it and it has a lot of charm. I appreciated the consistent hot water and that the area is quiet even though it is near the main square. I would stay here again. It could only be better if it had a pool and/or jacuzzi.
Nice location. Hotel is old and dated.

Overall the stay was great with A/C and amenities. However, only negative piece was that more maintenance is needed in my particular room. There was a loose tile and the bathroom door did not have a lock (expected as it is a colinial era house)
This is a grand, historic hotel that has been kept in its original rustically-ornate format. For its day it would have been 5 stars and very ornate. If you like history that has been well-maintained in an original fashion, you'll love this property.
This vintage hotel is gorgeous, preserving the elegance of the early 20th century. It is very central and convenient to many restaurants and the central Zokalo. The staff are friendly. The rooms are clean and I enjoyed my stay.
The hotel has no elevator, room telephones, and the water is not that hot. Regardless of that, I would recommend to stay at the grand hotel.
This is a beautiful historic hotel but lacks some amenities found in newer hotels. For example, there’s no elevator or swimming pool. Of these items aren’t critical to you then I’d recommend staying at this charming hotel. My only recommendation would be to add filtered water on the ground floor or first floor for guests. The staff were very helpful and accommodating!

Staff friendly. We only stayed for a night but it was in El Centro area where we were able to see a lot and we took a short walking tour.
Great old hotel. A classic. The staff are great, very accommodating. There are not many amenities in the hotel, but the area is great. Easy morning coffee with the Starbuck’s downstairs.
A gem of an old hotel. It is just beautiful. There are not many services, but it is a great location with everything could want within a block or two. Great staff. Very accommodating.
