  • Walk to downtown Meredith or Waukewan Public Beach! Nestled between Lake Waukewan and Meredith you can park your car for the week kick back, relax and enjoy!

    Gather with friends or family in our 5 bedroom, 2 bath home that comfortably sleeps 12. Walk 5 minutes to downtown or 10 minutes to Waukewan beach or hop in te car and drive to local weirs beach, Laconia or dozens of hikes. For rainy days, or just to kick back enjoy host provided board games, books and activities for all ages.

Meredith is a very cute and vacation-friendly city and area. The house is conveniently located and within walking distance of the quaint downtown area. This is an older house with some renovations, specifically in the bathrooms and kitchen, which are all nice.There are some odd aspects to the house, such as the layout and the hole in the kitchen ceiling that vents into one of the bedrooms. Additionally, the entrance through the old barn/workshop doesn't provide the best first impression.The Wi-Fi was down for most of our stay, which affected the AC thermostats and TV. The house was clean, and linens and towels were provided. We also felt safe in the area and it had ample, covered parking for two vehicles. The host was also flexible in adjusting our reservation by one day. With some polish, this will be a fine property for parties of 5-6 guests.
