"So. This review only refers to the hotel. Schluchsee and the surrounding area is amazing and I absolutely recommend the restaurant Seehof in Schluchsee, although they also have service issues. The hotel is by far not as nice and comfortable as advertised in the pictures and on Expedia as a whole. The rooms are quite frankly a catastrophe in this price segment; no amenities except for a fridge, no AC, no ceiling fan, not even a water boiler. "Good location, close to public transportation and food. Well maintained property. The staff at reception were polite but not friendly. Some of the toiletries in the bathroom were not refilled before we arrived. Parking is not included and can be a bit pricey over a few days. The car park is not convenient to drive in and out of often. Overall, the hotel is good value for money and a comfortable stay."
