"It’s a holiday inn so you know what you’re getting. The room wasn’t so bad, nice bathrooms and not many options in that area for foreigners. "Good location, near Metro Jinyuhutong, take the exit via the lift to ground level and turn right. Near Wangfujing street, which have many shopping and food options. Near Forbidden City, Donghuamen, walk about 700m. Staff is helpful: As we have our Taobao parcels delivered to the hotel, and the concierge staff is helpful and polite. Saw them helping other customer to book food delivery and even local tours."

"This hotel is more like a motel, and not a good one. The rooms are very small with low ceilings. Its location on a walking street means taxis can’t enter, so you have to walk to the hotel with your luggage. I meaned to experience the HuTong cultural hotel, very disappointed. I booked a room for 3 nights in March and paid in advance, though pay-at-hotel was also an option. When I stayed in May, I saw on Expedia that the price had dropped too much below what I paid. I asked a staff, who said their prices change all the time. That didn’t seem reasonable to me—if I had chosen to pay at the hotel, I’m not sure if I would have been charged the original rate or the current one. I was unhappy with this experience and will not return. For the same money, I can book a much better hotel in Beijing. Not recommend"
