"We had a great stay at this hotel for our minimoon. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, and the hotel was very quiet and always clean. We had a sea view room which we would highly recommend. As other reviews have mentioned, it was about a 20-25 min walk to the old town but there are plenty of bars and restaurants closer by / en route so this wasn’t an issue for us. The train station was a 10 min walk away. There was also a fridge in the room which we found useless to have our own drinks in the room. The only reason we’ve marked it down on amenities is that the whirlpool on the roof terrace wasn’t working during our stay but we just used the sea instead!"

"Beau séjour de 2 nuits. Très bel hôtel boutique ! Beau décor! Personnel pour la plupart gentil! Seul chose que j’ai trouvé un peu ordinaire c’est de ce faire charger 2 thé que nous avons pris en self service le soir avant d’aller ce coucher. Personne nous avais mentionné que cetais payant puisque c’était à côté de la machine à eau et a café. Surtout que nous n’avons pas pris notre 5€ de jeton pour un verre au bar…. J’ai trouvé ça irritant .. ça l’aurait pu être gratuit …. Emplacement de l’hôtel idéal ! Près de la plage prêt de parasol, tapis de sol, serviette de plage ! Très apprécié ! Merci"

"Villa Genesis is a totally unique, boutique hotel, accessible on the main road into Menton. Staff are all incredibly welcoming and helpful, speaking superb English. Our room was the "cosy" option - it's small, but well appointed. Bathroom is excellent, although you can flood the shower, if not careful. The room was cleaned well each day, although there was always a little item missing - we had bottled water left by the bed on 3 out of the 7 days and the coffee and tea sachets were not refreshed every day. Swimming pool is delightful with good amount of canopies but gets full quickly. Do not consider ordering a poolside drink as these are priced exorbitantly! Breakfast was typically continental and not included in the room rate, so we only sampled it twice. Enjoy the hotel for what it is, brilliant service and accommodation on a lovely historical villa."

"Wonderful stay at Best Western Plus Menton! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a lovely stay at the Best Western Plus in Menton, France. The hotel is in a fantastic location right across the road from the sea. Every morning we’d put on the provided robes and slippers and head straight for a swim — it genuinely felt like we had our own private beach! The shoreline is a bit pebbly/rocky, but the water is beautiful and crystal clear. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection, and the staff were genuinely lovely and helpful throughout our stay. Everything about the location made it so convenient for exploring Menton. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the French Riviera. A perfect mix of comfort and that special “beach right outside your door” feeling!"
